W 3-0 vs Crewe Alexandra (A) - Sat 14th Mar, 3.00pm (League Two)

Good luck to Darren and the team , but can’t see any significant change in approach or pattern occurring.

Club posted yesterday that they stopped selling tickets at lunchtime but you can still buy whatever is left on the day from Crewe ticket office.

Cheers mate.

The clubs attempt at clarity on Twitter is like a cryptic crossword clue. I’m looking for anagram indicators, deletion indicators, substitution indicators but alas.

I’ll try the Crewe ticket office. Good shout pal.

I don’t use twitter, and I haven’t been to many away games this season but I always found that information regarding on the day sales for away games to be difficult to find. Even in games when there is more than enough room for any walk ups. I just don’t get it really.

Hope you get sorted anyway.

Seeing the pre match interview of db was refreshing. Maybe Sadler should’ve let byfield and O’Connor do some of the post match interviews instead of him rambling on about the same old nonsense. I’ve gone for a Crewe win on my bet so no doubt walsall will do a walsall and win. Reverse psychology. I’m hoping for a change in formation and Barrett to come back in and be really up for it after being dropped and having a good rest and a new person to impress. Please no matt and Albert on the bench together.

I could never bet on Walsall to lose

Doesn’t it frustrate you when the simplest of tasks is made so difficult for you? It’s so annoying and that’s with any other subject that you may need help for in life. It’s quite sad that people are now over the moon when someone actually does their job correctly when you go somewhere or ring somewhere. Sorry mate rant over

I agree.

Our football club in particular has made an art of making the simple complicated. And then act all hurt and defensive if you try to give constructive feedback.

That should do it.

A 3-4-3-7 formation.

Yes, they said pay on the day (provided it isn’t a sell out, which it isn’t).

I can’t see Byfield wavering much from what the team is used to with maybe the addition of keeping the ball a bit better. Radical change won’t happen until the new gaffers appointed in my opinion.

The referee for this one is Stephen Parkinson from ?.
He last officiated us in the 0-1 away win at Oldham on 10th December 2025. Prior to that he officiated our home 1-1 draw in November 2024 with todays opponents Crewe. He had a god awful performance and was very card happy.
As far as I can tell the last time he officiated a Crewe game was the 1-1 game with us in November 2024 referred to above.
I think there may be a few cards issued today, lets see how this one goes.

Surprised a couple of you not wanting to start with Okey Cokey tbh

He needs to be starting Chang and Pattison.

It’d fizz everywhere when you opened it if you gave it the referee to hold…
