Thank you both

I’d buy one if I were you, they’re excellent value.

The excitement is starting to build ahead of Saturday. That new season optimism before the inevitable crash and burn!

My son was born in June and I’m hoping he is going to be the good luck charm that we need this season! I held him while watching the whole Bristol City game and I’m convinced that he is the spark to turn the tide back towards promotion :joy:

Gillingham is a new ground for me. Is anyone able to be kind and advise me on the best places to park? Happy to walk 10-20 minutes from the ground.

There is a car park in Railway Street opposite side to the railway station car park. I always park there. 10 minutes walk to the ground. But get there early. I meet up with friends who are Gills fans for a pre-match meal so am usually parked up by 12:30. Plenty of spaces at that time

Our coaches usually park there too.

Thanks both! :folded_hands:t2:

Looks strong, I think we might play Dixon on the wing and put Simper in the middle.

I was thinking that.

It balances the team out. Smith on the left and Dixon on the right makes for a really dynamic set of options wide.

For me, it’s a long overdue simplification of how football should be played in the fourth division.

Win it, pass it, get it wide, get it crossed and get it in. That’s five consecutive good things that need to occur. And regardless of how much coaches and players fancy themselves, in the fourth division that’s about the limit on ability.

I don’t think we will play two left footed CBs in a back 4.

We’ve had plenty of footballers who have played like they have two left feet…

Connolly is definitely right footed

I think Connolly is right footed no?

Left footed

Unexpectedly, Connolly is predominantly right footed

Let’s hope we continue tradition

Surely professional footballers should be both footed ?

Unfortunately how you finish matters more than how you start!! I would forgo a win on Saturday for a good end to the season.

Seen a few people put Dallas in midfield as a 10. I was under the impression that he was always an out and out striker. Can he play elsewhere?

Including Grant - in some of the pre-seasons and at Brizzle.
