The irony…decided i would travel down from the Highlands for this one because weather forecast was ok for higher parts of the A9 and no travel disruption…to find it snowing in the midlands

With the amount of school tickets they have sold/ given away it would be a surprise to call it off . Hopefully we are ok

Hopefully we can get past 9ish when it’s due to ease off and give the ground staff time to get it ready. Of course the only issue is if there’s a referee who doesn’t fancy being out in the cold when he can still pick up a match fee…

Can’t see today being on, forecast is that the rain should stop soon mind.
Really hope it is played as it stops our momentum, I’ve been for a walk this morning in little drizzle but the ground really isn’t great

I think the drainage layer underneath the pitch is pretty good so hopefully there is no standing water on the surface.

Should have no relevance on the decision, safety has to be the only concern. Looking grim at the moment, let’s hope this relents pretty soon.
No Snow in Walsall. I live about 3 miles from ground and rain is easing at the moment so hopefully it will be on. Met Office forecast ok for the rest of the day but others not so good!!! Lets hope Met Office is right!

With 6 hours until the game and limited precipitation I think we’ll be ok. I’d expect that with the questions being put to them on social media that the club will either advise of whether there is an inspection planned shortly

There would have been an announcement by now if they were planning a pitch inspection.
Nothing would surprise me this season!
Depends what time the ref turns up. I’m sure it was after 11 the last time a Saturday game was called off at Bescot, before they announced the pitch inspection, after telling everyone they anticipated it would be on.
I think it will be on, but I wouldn’t make it a certainty yet.
Accrington in January was called off at 9 in the morning

That was called off at 9:15 as we hadn’t left MK so saved us a journey. Remember the Accrington chairman congratulating the club on making the decision early so their fans were saved trips too.
