Transfer deadline day - what an effing joke our club has become. One signing and that’s a barnsley reject who doesn’t know where the goals are. We really are doomed.
A couple of weeks later - best performance for a long, long time. This Miller is class. The team is really coming together now. Great stuff!
Agreed. Find it strange that so many were favouring others over our player of the season last season before a ball was even kicked in anger this season. An excellent all round midfield performance today.
Great to watch a Walsall team with so much to offer in attack. We did not miss Labadie or even Holden (for once) though we might have missed Menayese, but then again so did they!
We won’t always play against centre backs that duff but we will cause problems. Earing looks good alongside Kinsella who did have another great game.
No weak links today. Effective all in areas. Credit to Matt Taylor, support staff and players.
Really like the look of Miller. Industrious and most importantly, very effective as proven today. A real threat for Mansfield today.
Praise also for the young lads out wide. Very mature and lively performances. Really encouraged by Shade’s performance out on the left. Looks more effective on that side.
All in all, an excellent performance and result today.
Totally agree really enjoyed today always looked dangerous going forwards all the attackers looked good I thought Kiernan and Earing kinsella all brilliant and Monthe excellent at the back but we were a team today . Long may it continue onwards and upwards

Superb performances all over the pitch, Monthe, Kinsella, Shade, Miller, Rushworth all exceptional, when the team was announced all I could see was attack attack attack and that exactly how it panned out, well done Matt Taylor and his men 4000 happy Saddlers tonight as good as I’ve seen in 3 or more seasons.
We were on about that leaving the ground they certainly made their own entertainment in the away end. My only grip is what has happened to the atmosphere at the Bank’s, so flat from the home fans and summed it up the 3-1 up and you still don’t sing chant from the away fans
