Most of Wednesbury has Walsall postcodes but it all comes under Sandwell not Walsall. Before the local government boundary changes in the 60s and 70s, Wednesbury had its own council which also covered Darlaston and Moxley.

How about Rachel Unitt? Born in Walsall and played for England - and probably a lot better than most of the dross we’ve had to put up with over the last few years!
