Walsall FC and the £1.78million losses

With Walsall releasing some startling losses, we discuss the reasons behind it, the benefits it has brought to the club, and ultimately whether these are good, or bad.

We also look at the season ticket pricing and Rob airs a small gripe with some of the additional spends the club are encouraging.

These Harry Potter inspired books have lost a bit of their magic over the years haven’t they?

Yeah, the real world versions just don’t have the same ring to them

Glad you enjoyed mate!

I would highly doubt this would have any effect on the current deal, more likely the next sponsorship deal once this expires

Doesn’t their sponsorship deal finish at the end of this season mate?

Next season I think?
Wasn’t it 3 years?

Edit: yes, the end of this season. Thought we’d only had 2 Poundland kits for some reason! :man_facepalming:

Haven’t looked into it to be honest, would also assume there are options to extend/first refusal on any future deals

Thought it was mate. Interesting to see what happens.

Yea mate. Will make for a very interesting end of season in more ways than one!!.
I would imagine we’ve got the stadium/shirt sponsor deals in the bag now.
Let’s see what happens i guess.
Hopefully if we go up has put us in a great bargaining position with any future sponsors :ok_hand:

If we don’t we don’t get promoted the goverment’s net zero scheme can sponsor us, cost us a load more money, put us into debt, ultimately run out of juice and failing to meet the objective, the tie ins are perfect😁

Great idea, then we can use that as leverage to get all the right wing propaganda peddlers to sponsor everything else to counter the message. Win: win!

Sounds like a plan, should be rolling in it next season😁

Finally got to listen to it yesterday - another good episode and certainly confirmed my own thoughts as to the specifics of that set of accounts…

I have absolute confidence that the next set will look much healthier

Owners have today formally appointed advisory firm to oversee the sale according to the Telegraph. Didnt realise theyve been Polish owned for a while.
