Thinking about taking my 3 and a bit year old Nephew to the junior fanzone before the Stockport match this Saturday.
Anyone have some experiences to share? - positive or negative? - I’m worried he might be a bit young? - My sister will probably come too - will they let her in or do we both need tickets?
When my daughter used to come with, we’d go in. They have a small soft play area, although this usually gets taken over by older children playing football. There used to be two Playstations in there, but they only had Fifa on them. There is a little section where they can build lego and also a little area where you can write a letter/note to a player/member of staff and post it. If you leave contact details, someone from the club will get in touch with you and they send a handwritten letter back.
Tried my 6 year old lad last year when we played Grimsby but he wouldn’t even go inside. He could see loads of older kids playing football in the soft play which put him off.
I’ve gone in with my lad before games , always been welcomed not busy but who ever is in there older kids or younger my lads always felt at ease.he’s played with girls and boys ,stewards have always kept an eye on things , there’s a small refreshment section in there too.
Found it quite chilled out to be honest
