Just to lift the prevailing gloom a little, Walsall Ladies beat their counterparts from our old friends, Port Fail, 3-2, last Sunday at Rushall Olympic (WFC Ladies’ home ground). So, one traditional Saddlers tradition, i.e. beating the Burslem lot, is being maintained.
They are away to Walsall Wood Ladies at Oak Park, next Sunday, 2.00 p.m. before returning to Rushall to play Wyrley Ladies on 30th January.
