I’m on bloody holiday!
Might need to check that Salop.
All I can see is that the club are recommending purchasing online. I can’t see that they will be digital tickets though.
I’m in Cerdigion on holiday with the family so our plans are a 75 minute drive to Swansea, train to Paddington and tube/overground to Wembley…
Gonna be a bloody long day but hopefully worth it
What would be the point of asking people to buy digitally if they still had to post them out? Buying digitally to me means the whole process is virtual.
Wembley is all digital ticket, even “post” ones will just be a QR code print out i think
6 limit is pants btw
Trains playing up from Tamworth (all good from new st for the person who asked) so don’t think I’ll bother …….
Was going to drive to international but can’t have a booze anyway so booked someone’s drive to park on in London
Why do you say that? Everyone who wants to go will be able to.
I think ticket sales could surprise a few people . I know done villa and blues supporting friends who were there last night and they were buzzing after the match saying how much they enjoyed the atmosphere.
Plus you will get all usual fans that only turn up for the big ones. I reckon it will be 25-30k.
Similar to the JPT vs Brizzle I reckon - high 20’s
I’m not a big fan of supporters of other clubs joining in with us when we get a big occasion. Its patronising and dilutes the atmosphere. I want Walsall supporters and friends/family of Walsall supporters. The rest can stay at home for me.
15-20k of our own would be great (like Cardiff in 2001).
I agree Bath. Unless they get right into it. Need to do proper homework on the players the songs and give a big shit about it.
A problem last time was that our usual 5k were so spread out by day trippers it killed it.
I’ll have a couple of extras with me but they know what it means to me so will be right into it. Both been to a few matches with me so know the score and join in our half a dozen or so “greatest hits”.
I don’t really want to hear any “who’s Walsall’s keeper?” chat going on around me.
I agree Wiltshire. It’s not going to sell out is it?
There are nine of us sit together on matchday. All ST’s but we’d obviously like to be together at Wembley. Now we need to go through some logistical hoops to make that happen. We’ll all get in - no problem it’s just we’d like to be together as the old ad went.
It’s BHM. Lots of other stuff will be going on which will deter people travelling to Wembley to watch a team they don’t support.
I’m not defending the 6 ticket rule. Seems utterly pointless.
But with a bit of planning and coordination everybody who wants to sit together will be able to.
If you wish to purchase seven or more tickets in a single transaction, you will need to complete a pro-forma in person at the Ticket Office, providing full details of each ticket holder.
From the Walsall website.
Seems fair enough, a form to avoid the weird navigation of Ticketmaster.
Sure there was a lot longer gap between the Preston game & the final too which would given more time for people only vaguely concerned about our fortunes to decide to go etc
Ace, is there a link?
