Is there some logical explanation for the play-off finals kicking off at 13:01 / 15:01?

I think I heard on the radio it’s some mental health campaign to take a minute to check on someone or something along those lines

Edit - I clearly wasn’t listening it is every minute matters when it comes to CPR

Thanks for those very prompt replies :slightly_smiling_face:

Well, every minute does matter

Any idea when cars have to be off by after the game?

I wonder if @KingCrod is aware, as he may need to edit his advice as to the time we should all take up our allocated seats, or indeed begin to stand safely?

Think they might hit 30k.

Just been going through their SM and it seems that the EFL/Ticketmaster couldn’t open blocks quick enough yesterday with a fair few feeling they’d ā€œmissed outā€.

I’m happy with that to be honest.

We know what 30,000 (plus!!) is like at Wembley where over two thirds are tourists.

Our 17k will be made up of 12,000 people with genuine allegiances and affinities with 5,000 associates of those 12,000 who should ā€œget itā€.

As the effective away team, I’d take being outnumbered by passers by for a bollocking big and boisterous away end.

After what happened on the final day, telling us every minutes matters is somewhat cruel.

That minute certainly damaged my mental health!

30k Wombles Vs 17k Saddlers = Wombles outnumbered

I think we had something like 15-16000 in a crowd of 50,000 v Reading at the Millennium. That was fine, in fact, it was great.

I have a feeling those blocks behind the goal for us at Wembley will be rocking, mostly made up of genuine Saddlers who got in early to buy tickets.

I’ve just booked this! Bit of a no brainier and supporting a grass roots football team.
Saved me trying to find street parking.

I agree.

Three generations of us so we’ve tried to go somewhere our teenagers can feel and be part of the energy and our octogenarians can sit down.

We’re high up in tier one near the corner flag. I’m hoping that to our left are seven or eight thousand bouncing.

We had a bit of a decision to make.

Mrs Blazing is coming, and she can’t stand for long amounts of time. She came to Port Vale and spent a lot of it sitting down and not being able to watch the game.

When it came to it though, the decision was left to what the boys wanted to do, and they said they wanted to be where the action is. So that is what we went for. I don’t think it will be like Vale where everyone stood for the whole 90. I’d imagine stewards would step in if that happened at Wembley. It will just the usual stand whenever we are in anything like an attacking position.

Would be cool

The Reading Play-off Final felt exactly how you describe it PT, like an away fixture with a huge following (17k), the most Saddlers I had ever been part of upto that point. We were boisterous and loud and got louder as the game wore on. It worked for us that day and it may work for us again.

I hope we can get upto 17-18k but I see no reason why we can’t replicate Cardiff 2001 regardless.

Yes, just found this.

At Wembley Stadium, you are allowed to bring one small bag per person, provided it doesn’t exceed A4 size (210mm x 297mm). Any matchday merchandise purchases will be provided in a clear plastic bag and are also permitted.

Key points about the bag policy:

  • Size Limit: One small bag per person, A4 size (210mm x 297mm) or smaller.
  • Clear Plastic Bags: Matchday merchandise will be provided in a clear plastic bag, which is also permitted.
  • Exceptions: Medical exceptions may be granted with prior contact and proof of need.
  • Bags are Checked: All bags will be inspected upon entry.
  • No Large Bags: Large bags, backpacks, or suitcases are not permitted.
  • No Folding Tricks: Bags that are half-filled and folded to reduce size will not be accepted, as the policy considers the actual bag dimensions.
  • Security Concerns: The policy is in place to enhance public safety and improve the overall visitor experience.
  • Bag Drop Service: Wembley Stadium offers a bag drop service,: it is recommended to leave large bags at the bag drop rather than bringing

Tickets booked, flat in the Maida Vale area booked, parking booked, bank statement not looked at! :see_no_evil_monkey:

If we win it won’t bother me, if we lose we will be on cold beans for a month or two.

Don’t let me down Walsall :crossed_fingers::grin:

I posted it in response to someone the other day, but if anyone does have bags to store use Stasher.com I’ve used them before no issues, although round Wembley they’ll be busy but more centrally there’s literally dozens of places
