Bought 10 tickets in 2 lots within a few mins of each other on Monday morning, one lot came through lunchtime the others just. So assume they’re sending them block by block
Anybody have any idea what time the official coaches (the £40 one) gets to Wembley? I think it sets out at 09:00 - so is it reasonable to expect it to get there midday-ish?
On the Wombles site it confirms they’ve now sold 25,500 tickets
Seems to have gone quiet on our sales. Looks like we’re pretty much done at around 15.500
Still not bad given the cost especially if you have a family.
anybody else got tickets with the bescot on them rather than wembley?
Not even had mine
They won’t be opening any other sections by the look of it. I feel a bit sorry for the 800 or so marooned in the middle tier, they’ll have the concourse all to themselves up there.
If I remember rightly we had sold about 15k for Reading but then had a last minute rush of an extra 2k tickets.
Pick up is 9.30, but three hours with a stop seems about right. Can’t see it being any longer on a BH.
Lovely - just wanted to have the chance to soak up some atmosphere outside the ground without having to rush straight in.
My Son’s bringing his Orkney girlfriend with him (if we have to suffer then why shouldn’t she) - and it would be nice that she can experience some of the build up and arrival of fans. There’s only 22k live on the islands, so having nearly double that inside 1 football stadium should be a bit of a culture shock!
Should’ve chinned him.
I agree with that, it mirrors my experience of both games. That was a special time when Graydon was manager, a rare time when everyone (or almost everyone) was pulling in the same direction.
I do think it will be more like the Millennium this time. For one thing, all said and done, this game is far more important than the JPT. But with around 15,000 going instead of 30,000 it will mostly be Walsall fans, with a sprinkling of day trippers from other clubs.
We had what, 8500 home fans v Chesterfield. Then a lot of people will take family with them. My wife is going for an example, but doesn’t often go to games. I think the lower tier behind the goal will be bouncing this time.
It could be worse, DJ has got tickets with London Zoo on his.
Tickets have landed in my inbox
Daughter has got our tickets.Downloaded to wallet. Coach booked so we are ready. I hope the players are too…UTS.
Not a stick of merch anywhere in Walsall town centre today. Thought there would have been a couple of shops or stalls at least trying to make a few quid. At least the Mets got the Davenports Continental back on.
That’s what you pay £3 per transaction to Ticketmaster for.
Probably made over 100k and they can’t even get the right ground.
I take it you can use the ticket the same as we do at Walsall, using Google Wallet?
Saved mine in my wallet ,I was trying to ring Wembley for an easy access ticket for my lad on crutches and they was useless ,wasn’t selling them ,told me to contact the club ,just went online and picked the best I could get, Hopefully there’s a few lifts about
Or just screenshot the ticket and zoom into the QR code at the turnstile
