Wembley Tickets

I’m guessing it’s not as positive as they wanted.

They might be relying on decent sales today and confirm a final figure of 17.5k or something like that.

Despite the slowdown, we still sold hundreds yesterday.

I appreciate this forum isn’t representative of all fans but the vast majority of regular contributors on here seem very happy with approx 16k fans on the day…

Not being negative but if the club isn’t happy with the numbers then they should have done much more media communication to the public to elevate interest etc… it seems to have been quiet locally and on the main media channels etc…

Agreed I had hoped for more but as others said they would be day trippers ie blues fans backing Hall and Chang or Villa fans wanting to see Uncs curtain call (hope not to be fare)
However the fans we will take have an interest in the club in the majority of cases so what we lose on bragging rights we gain in atmosphere and vocal support hopefully.
I’ve seen some Wimbledon fans express the same fear of there day trippers tbh

Aye. Same for 'er indoors.

It’s a predictable component of the PO attendances with the lower level games (notably L1 and 2.)

I imagine every club getting to the final has the same issue

I personally don’t mind as long as STH and existing members have first dibs at tickets - that said, it does seem odd how the EFL is handling the release of the additional blocks…

This shouldn’t pose any problems for entering the ground though, should it? I know some will want to print off for keepsakes.

Thanks, I’ve decided not to wait any longer and gone for it. Will be interesting to see how long these take to sell. Mix of cat 2 and 3. Looks like 65 sold already.

Wouldn’t have thought so, the QR code to scan is the main thing needed on the ticket isn’t it?

Yeah that is what I thought, and if you add it to google wallet it is showing as Wembley (I am told, haven’t done it yet)

It doesn’t show a ground name at all in the Apple wallet! But the rest of the details are accurate

In google wallet is saays Wembley but doesn’t distinguish which ticket is adult or junior etc

Looks like three more blocks have just opened in the second level.

In Apple it says adult or u16

You may be right mate - what’s odd is that the last update from the club (on the website) is from Tuesday when it stated we’d sold 13,000

Not great communication really …..

didn’t they put on about having over 15,000 at some point?

They did …yesterday I think.

A lot more middle tier went up for sale just as you posted.
