When does a pension become enough

When does a pension pot become enough for a man in his 70’s to get by on, you would think after all these years that there would be enough in it by NOW, there should be enough for him to sail away into the sunset with, so why NOT give it up and let the fans see benefit of the rent, there’s got to be some clause where by he doesn’t need to keep putting in the pension fund by cashing it in.

All depends what other income he has? If he’s living off his 450k a year then being realistic he will be in no rush to move on.

Greed begets greed.

The more you have, the more you want.

Surely there’s a cut off point when enough’s enough and no need, it’s a question that perhaps need’s asking at some point.

I’m sure he has more than enough at the moment for the rest of his and his wife’s lifetime - it just depends on how many others he wants to secure their future. £6.8M invested over that length of period must be a massive pension pot!

… when it stops getting bigger and bigger every day?

Membership of the Illuminati is expensive, and there’s the cost of good skin cream for when you have a moult.

It’s all about greed and not knowing when to stop.

Bruce Springsteen sums it up nicely in his song Badlands…

“Poor man wanna be rich, rich man wanna be king,
And a king ain’t satisfied till he rules everything”
