new adidas club shop

Tue May 09, 2017 12:46 pm

The stadium club shop is closed for much of next week for a refurbishment. The same happened up the Albion several years ago. Adidas who are new kit suppliers take on the shop refurbishment and brand it all up including signs with the famous three stripes logo. Exciting times.

Bye

Just a shame the club will order 10 shirts in size XXXL and 5 in XS and ask for them to be delivered 3 weeks in to the season

I thought that the shop was going underneath the new Sunday Market Stand

Please dont let it be Adidas!! That would cost me a fortune with the whole family wanting kits, training shirts tracksuits etc. My money is safe in my back pocket if its Xara.

Wendy has it slightly wrong, we're in the process of knocking down the stadium and rebuilding it in the shape of a giant Adidas logo.

They've only just paid to have the yellow lines behind the away end re-painted. Another waste of money by the club!

To be fair the club have stated in the past that a club in league 1 has no power at all over the major kit suppliers. They are far too interested in fulfilling the whims of the premier league teams than meeting any orders from the lower leagues. So we are going to be stuck with second or third tier suppliers.

If they add an extra line, it'll fit right in with the branding

It's weird that you care about what people wear. Especially considering it's in support of Walsall.

I would imagine the majority of shirts sales are Children's (perhaps not so weird) , and as a parent I would like to see a quality kit this season. Unlike that very cheap effort from last season!

I wonder how many shirts we sell, 2,500 would be my guess, both home and away combined.

That's optimistic, I'd think. Maybe it's an innocuous question for the next fan's forum?

If they produce the new kit made from decent Harris Tweed I'll consider a Walsall away kit waist coat.

Same as the fancy dress thing at the end of the season............and while I'm on there should be a maximum shirt size of large  XXXL is definitely not a good look combined with leggings
