Unfortunately didn’t get to go to Deepdale that night, but remember watching on tele and getting that feeling when the ball hits the back of the net when it makes that “tshhh” sound, still get it now

It really was one of the great nights.
Absolutely hammered down later that night and I was doing one step beyond with my top off in the back garden when I got back. The neighbours never did say anything about it though!
The second leg was even better, not the game but the whole occasion, the Town really was buzzing that night. Loved it.
Promotion this season will be better though!
