Aaron Pressley Signs

I don’t want a communication from Trivela or Sadler right now. I just want some decent signings.

“a little less conversation, a little more action please”

Over to you Trivela.

Mat Sadler certainly has a type of player he likes.

With a view to possibly moving?

You’ll easily recognise him.
He has a massive entourage.

I think this looks like a very good signing and to pay decent money and a 3 year contract suggests they have a good idea what they are doing.

I like the squad we are assembling and I am starting to feel more confident after the end of last season. You know the saying ‘out of adversity comes opportunity’ and if not google it.

I realise that there are those on here who will try and shoot me down in flames but Hey Ho, I have an opinion and I have shared it.

Just a blank screen, no picture.

The squad ain’t the issue the manager is. I wouldn’t trust Sadler to win league 2 with Man City squad.

Yeah. If only we could have kept the manager that took us 12 points clear…

It ain’t how you start it’s how you finish. The biggest wetwipe in football history. He’d probably freeze Haaland out and bring in Josh Gordon.

Looks like a Logan Paul wannabe

As a tall person myself I also struggle to get trousers that fit

Those are Oxford bags,I had some in the 70s, maybe they’re coming back.

Do you mean the manager who took us 12 points clear and had the press calling us possibly the best league 2 team ever. All that in his first couple of years as a young potentially trainee manager.

I dont know what went wrong in the second half of the season besides the fact that we lost Lowe. Maybe he got out thought by more experienced managers, maybe the team was fatigued as some said, maybe he didn’t rotate the team as some thought.

But if Sadler did make mistakes he is surely wise enough to have learnt by them and can only gain in experience each year that goes by. We have had experienced managers in the past and look where that got us. We need to stick with him and give him our support because if he does anywhere near as well as he was doing in the first half of last season we will want him to stick with us and he will be in big demand elsewhere.

To sum up, we should be careful what we wish for.

Think I’d rather take my chances if it’s all the same :+1:

I don’t need to stick with anyone cause I ain’t going again until he’s gone. Anyway you can pop over to the club shop and buy ur jersey if you haven’t already. You know it makes sense.

I agree he is still a relative rookie. However the mistakes he made weren’t things like subtle tactical changes that he will learn with experience. They were the most basic of errors that were obvious to everyone else apart from him. Players knackered, players played out of position, players not selected, no plan B, predictable substitutions etc etc.
Most good managers make changes during a game. It took MS over 10 games to act and then he still couldn’t fix it. That’s not due to lack of experience- it’s a lack of awareness.

He’s got new players now and I genuinely think that the club can learn from the setback.

It doesn’t mean that I’m not disappointed.

I do realise though that we are unlikely to ever be in such an ‘unassailable’ position again.

However, I also think that if we go up this year, we will probably be better prepared for league one.

Regardless of what I think though, the reality is that we are in league two. The coach for the American Football team, the Las Vegas Raiders has a great attitude in terms of the need to maintain positivity and I think that the club are trying to promote a similar mantra: he calls it maxing out the optimism
