Different employer. An “outsider” has more leeway to ask more pointed questions.

The only way for me they can ever possibly rectify this is by coming out in the summer and putting out a very very transparent statement which basically says something along the lines of
“We’ve made mistakes and got things wrong but we’re going to rectify those mistakes by getting a proven manager in and giving him whatever he needs to win the league/promotion”
Only then, can it be somewhat rectified. It won’t happen though because that’s not who Trivella are
I dont disagree with anything you’ve said there mate. However, we’re just gonna be hoodwinked with another “marquee signing” that the manager doesnt want and a bunch of cheap tat in the club shop to mark the magnificent occasion.
Fookin stinks.
And the snowflake ‘fans’ heartbroken because Dave mimes ‘Shush’ to ‘fans’ calling him a ‘useless c…’.
And the ‘fans’ scrutinising every word Saddler says so they can clutch their pearl necklaces and weep into their embroidered handkerchiefs because it’s harming their mental health.
Please just go. Give up on the Saddlers. You hate the club. You revel in the tough times. Leave our team to true fans. UTS
100% agree in response. I think they really might have severely miscalculated January and I think all good will they had is now gone
Bonser was a parasitic leech, but he wouldn’t have stood for this or us becoming a national laughing stock.
Exactly. Uncle Jeff would have shown him the door a while back, a la O’Dismoll. That in no way is endorsing the 1986 vintage leather jacket wearing, bog handle making, parasite either.
Grown man peddling the shit you peddle.
Someone’s had a couple of Shandy Bass’ ay they, for christ sake.
After all the drivel they’ve spouted all season regarding one player, forgive me if i dont take too much notice.
Barrow would have been the last straw for Bonser.
Scunthorpe (A) levels in terms of a performance and at least that night, they did try we were just abhorrently shit.
You spend your whole life on here slagging off Stirk and you have the nerve to come on here running down genuine life long fans.
I know you are a troll but you are good at it. You annoy the life out of me and I’m really not in the mood tonight.
Agree with all of that.
From what I was told by someone in the know (yeah I know) He sacked Sir Ray after the defeat against Albion cos he watched it on TV with some friends and we had one shot all game that went over the bar. He had the piss taken out of him, so he pulled the trigger.
Might not be true to be fair, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
He’d have binned Sadler by now, but christ I wouldn’t want him back.
I can absolutely believe that, I wouldn’t want him back either but it would be nice to have some bollocks shown from within the board room or even just an overall comment on the absolute state of things. The longer there’s radio silence the worse it’s gonna get
Don’t ever reply to posts that respond to my comments.
For obvious reasons to readers of this forum, in your case I will.
From the day he was signed, Ryan Stirk received unwarranted praise simply because he was not Liam Kinsella.
It was obvious that Stirk, for all his effort, did not have the qualities needed for a L2 side. Carefully avoiding any personal criticism, I aimed, through this forum (bit mad) to nudge his exit from the starting eleven. Not my finest hour(s) in terms of effectiveness. I judged any number of players in our squad could do a better job than RS.
At match days I applauded every positive contribution RS made to the game (not too many tbh). He was OK yesterday, and merited my encouragement, amidst the horrid abuse from other ‘fans’.
If we leave RS out of the team and play our most talented footballers (Chang not RS for example) this can still be a great season.
Whatever, it’s been a fantastic eight months. Wouldn’t have missed a game.
Brilliant value for money.
Hoping the bullies find somewhere else to bully next season and leave our club to its true fans.
Enjoy league two again then - with the current Stirk and the next equivalent cos it ain’t getting better
Maybe if we keep Sadler you can re-enact the last 8 months
I like you. You never break character do you. Don’t change
Stop bullying me.
Played brilliantly a few times earlier on in the season, as did many. You never once acknowledged those games when they happened.
In the last couple of weeks, you suggested that RAM could play at CDM over Stirk. No substance or reasoning behind it.
Yes and should of been weeks ago. Even if it was just to rotate the squad at the time.
Nobody has bullied you, if thats what youre insinuating. Several, (myself included) have called you out for being a troll. Its the same drivel, week in, week out. Perhaps you should go and “weep into your embroidered handkerchief” though, eh?
Who the hell are you to question anyone’s support? We’re all as pissed off as each other and rightfully so.
Funnily enough, you seem more than capable of stringing a sentence or paragraph together - why not just have a debate all along?
Try not to bite mate it’s exactly what he’s after. It’s been a tough time these last few months but hopefully in the future all of us including you and your kids will see happier times watching this club that we love. You can feel your passion by reading your posts on here and I’m 100% sure it’s being passed down a generation too.Chin up mucka we’ll get there one day.
Feeling strangely liberated after weeks and months of anxious hoping and willing for even modest success. It’s over. As all hope is now lost, for me anyway, it’s been replaced by blank acceptance. There’s still one game and playoffs, but I can’t see the team winning another game and it’s difficult to see them actually even scoring. It’s an abject and dismal conclusion to what was a glorious adventure.
I think we held the post war record for the most consecutive defeats in our Division two season in 89, not sure if that still stands. This is right up there. A collapse so absolute and total that the only thing left is to smile and shrug. There won’t be many failures to match this level of magnitude in our lifetimes. We’ve done it in some style ladies and gents! Might as well own it.
I can’t believe the ending of the season really. Well done to the three promoted teams and good luck next season.
Had a fevered dream weeks ago of a 2-0 playoff semi defeat at Wimbledon and another no-show 0-0 at home to slide into the bin of history with an ignominy and inevitability that sums up our season, we’ll see if that comes to pass.
Alfred Adomah gamboling after putting us 2-0 up at Cheltenham was the high point of the season. We were up in that moment, no doubt. But the world caught up with us and the dream died. Such is life. We may dream again at some time in the future.
