I think he gets time next season, if we still somehow find a way to go up. Most fans will forget about it over the summer.
But there needs to be serious investment in the summer, whichever league we’re in.
Last summer was helped by several players signing new deals quite early on, not a single one this year, so could be a much bigger turnover this summer.
People need to behave with respect towards each other.
This would be a great way to select the side if all players had absolutely equal attributes in every area, but when it means that Comley and McEntee are ahead of Chang in our midfield, you should probably re-evaluate your methods.
The “PE teacher” insult never made any sense about someone who has been a professional footballer as long as Sadler. But…
His comments in the WM interview about picking, “The player who is working the hardest, the player who is putting themselves out there, who is giving everything for the cause” really sound more like a teacher than a professional manager.
What about picking the player who is most likely to win the game for us on match day? That is not necessarily the player who is working hardest in training; and a professional manager should know that.
I thought we were all to dream about what is possible?

I understand where you’re coming from but for the good of the club he needs going at a minimum if we don’t get promoted. I’d say he needs to go now so we can get ready for the playoffs, we have 0% chance of getting through them with him in charge.
We have gone so far away from the team that was walking the league its ridiculous. I dont like laying all this blame at Sadlers door but to mismanage the team so badly takes some doing. What are Waddock and Byfield offering?? How has Lakin gone from a mainstay in the team to not even making the squad now? The players cant have any confidence in , not just Sadler but whole management team when they see teammates in and out of the squad without explanation or justification. Its obvious and has been for weeks that its just try something and hope it works. Soul destroying beyond anything Ive ever known watching Walsall and as much as I will see this season out to the end I almost hope we do get beat in the semi finals of play offs because dragging this s%#tshow all the way to Wembley and not turning up again is too much to bare. Mentally and financially I cant take much more. Sooner its over the better.
Sadler and his coaching staff have messed this up. No doubt about that. We still had enough from January to get over the line quite easily with some common sense team selections.
A bigger worry is that those running the club off the pitch didn’t seem able and/or willing to do anything about this shocking run which now covers almost 1/2 of a season. God knows what shape the rebuild for next season will look like. I am worried!!

We played some good football today.
The players gave everything.
Yet…
Some fans couldn’t wait for the chance, either at the end of the game or on this forum, to start bullying the manager.
I have been critical of Saddler, but from his interviews and how he presents himself, he is one of the good guys; generous, thoughtful and takes victories and defeats with admirable calm.
Be great if the bullies gave the Saddlers the sack, and left Saddler and true fans to enjoy what’s left of this incredible season.
Like the thug bawling at Saddler ‘You’re an Fing c…’ go and find a hobby that doesn’t nurture your instinct to bully.
