Aden Flint Signs

Whole team looked rusty in the last 15 minutes.

Problem you have in pre season when you’re using 23 different players in a game.

Those were his first minutes in pre season so I believe so a fair bit behind everyone else.

It’s interesting to note the change in average attendances over the years

Top tier: 1986: 19,273 2023: 40,236
2nd tier 1986: 7,688 2023: 18,688
3rd tier 1986: 4,512 2023: 10,614
4th tier 1986: 2,551 2023: 5,791

I think most people consider Walsalls natural status to be 3rd tier so I do think we should be targeting 10k crowds, albeit it shouldn’t be needed to get out of tier 4

Exactly this ……probably need 10k to be competing at top end league 1 now a days not top end league 2 .
You just need a good manager and good recruitment.

And might i add a good away following.
Our support on the road is amazing compared to some with similar home crowds.

Dave had no problem heading a ball, but just like his ‘hoofs’ not necessarily in the right direction. He was mustard on the throw-ins tho…oh, hang on.

What they meant is without spending any of their own money on playing staff. Which is fine but dont gas light us. They still think we are all stupid.

Great business Big Dave outgoing .incoming Big Big Aden, jury is out .

In that earlier season we averaged more 4500 too. Fallen a long way in real terms haven’t we?

Let’s hope Flint can get up to speed quickly - we’ll need his height against Harry Smith!

Yes exactly this.

I don’t understand the vitriol aimed at Ben Sadler.

I’m not saying he hasn’t received any, but you always get some fans that way. Especially when they are looking for someone/anyone to blame for last season. Maybe in his position don’t spend so much time discussing things with fans on twitter. I know it can be seen as a positive when things are going well, but inevitably it will bring problems.

Also, rather than telling us we need 10k + gates, maybe tell us about how he intends to try and achieve this, he is meant to be the expert in the building when it comes to this.

Trouble with Sadler he would probably be on the bench at those two games.

Just read this on the Swindon fans forum
“Aden Flint totally instigated all that trouble at the end, he was goading the away end almost demanding the missiles.”
We all know there are a few posters on UTS with diverse views, but we are amateurs compared to this idiot.

There’s quite a few idiots on there that seem to be downplaying the incidents at the end of the game and blaming our players because some Swindon fans got triggered by them celebrating the goals.

I had a look on there forum yesterday myself I started to read some posts about the chair throwing and pyro flares one after another couldn’t believe the guff I was reading, came off compete muppets that’s one forum on my banned list from now .like to take into account the opposition view but wow if we had that level of posters on here i wouldn’t bother .thank goodness we are nowhere near that level of intelligence.

“But … the nasty man made me angry because he won the game!!!”

Some football fans are such f***ing children at times.
