The teaser on the twitter feed is very good
Can’t wait for Morocco Mole to announce this to be certain…
Hell of a signing, certain things permitting. Our track record of signing advanced aged players recently is very poor so hopefully this bucks the trend.
F*ck yes
A quite superb signing, the guy oozes class and will be a great competition for young Connor Barrett and a fabulous professional to have in the group.
People who have seen him in the friendlies have said he looked impressive. I think this is a great signing insofar as anyone can tell. A real quality player at a higher level.
Quote from Sadler:
“His professionalism and dedication to keep playing and put himself as the best athlete he can be is unquestionable and that delivery and quality in the final third will be a real force for us this season."
Shame we don’t have the strikers to feed of the quality deliveries into the box.
Best of luck to him. Good addition, and an important piece of the jigsaw.
Fingers crossed he doesn’t end up as another Ward or Hussey.
Really like this signing on paper so hope it works out.
I’d assume Sadler sees Barrett as the main RWB with Adomah providing back up and competition and getting lesser minutes out of the two.
His crossing ability is honestly some of the best I’ve ever seen
Happy with this - thought he looked class at Alvechurch and whilst acknowledge the quality of the opposition, he will more than do a job. Certainly gives me more confidence that some of our recent more experienced player type signings e.g. Stephen Ward.
Hussey was OK as a player but just left - that doesn’t happen too often.
We have had five “older” signings recently, none of whom contributed a great deal - Hussey, Taylor, Clarke, Ward and Williams. I think the club will have been very careful to see Adomah’s level of fitness. It is possibly why he was on trial instead of just being signed, as the others were.
Welcome Albert he has certainly shown some quality in pre season so far
This may be Jamma’s signing to find his 2020-2022 form.
I hope he’s back up and a threat off the bench rather than limiting Barrett… wasn’t that the point of signing him?
Welcome Albert…looks a useful signing as long as he is fit. Now for a couple of blokes to get on the end of his crosses!!
Is Albert our first Ghanaian international?
We are now undoubtedly stronger at RWB than last season.
Foulkes struggled at times and Knowles was awful - he gave the ball away constantly and his delivery was woeful.
This could help the defence in general too as every team will inevitably make mistakes and concede goals if their opponents have the ball that much. Better quality on the ball at RWB will give us more control of games.
It looks like Hornby will be next as a backup keeper and then it all hangs on the strikers. We need 2 who can start games and then it’ll be just padding the squad out with loans.
Good strikers with a goal threat are a crucial cog for us now. Get that right and we’ll look reasonably strong.
I think that’s a decent signing. His delivery into the box from what I saw was very impressive.
Welcome Albert.
