Cook back upfront with him supplying the ammunition :rofl:

Definitely a step in the right direction, let’s hope Sadler doesn’t try and play him in a defensive way. If he’s an attacking player then give him a bit of freedom.

A good start to the window, he does seem to have a history of picking up injuries but at least if we can keep him fit he could be very important especially as an attacking midfielder.

Sounds ideal for Sadsball, just hope he isn’t the midfield version of Priestley as they make him sound like he is made of glass! :grimacing:

I think this is a very good signing always liked him at Harrogate and Bradford I’m actually shocked it’s a permanent deal as well.

Nice signing - experience, previous promotion, permanent too

Not the first name I would associate dropping into a low possession, high intensity Sadler side but hopefully he stays fit and can offer a creative spark

ā€œThe move happened quite quickly over the last few days and I’m just glad it’s all sorted now"

" we’ve had to work extremely hard to do that amongst all the interest that he has had"

What in the last two days …Sounds about right for us :joy:

Seriously if we can keep him fit, and start passing to the midfield instead of bypassing it it could well be a great signing, and it is a signing and not a loan…all we need now is some strikers for him to work with .. Andy Cook anyone :joy:

Walsall sign midfielder Alex Pattison from Bradford City - BBC Sport

Very good signing if we can keep him fit

I don’t mean this to come across as negative, but he doesnt have many goals and assists for an attacking midfielder

Hopefully he was signed on more than just his two goals against us last season

52 in the last four and a half seasons, more than good enough.

Deliberately controversial there mate

Who do you think we’re able to attract and afford in that type of position

He’s a clear improvement on what we have right now and his experience in the position is massively required right now…

As we all know it’s how many the team scores that matters, not the individual

Clearly had a good season with Harrogate too which is no mean achievement for them in league 2

You’ve immediately contradicted yourself there…

I agree it’s the team goals that matter and I believe he’s got the ability (and experience) to help us become more productive from Midfield and in attack (more broadly speaking..)

Really happy we have recruited a tried and tested successful player at this level. More please BSšŸ‘

Thought there was enough BS on here

He repeats that he wants promotion with the club several times. Not many others that come in are that clear in their aims.

He would be eligible for Sunday, rules have changed this season and you can play for 2 clubs in the FA Cup

Finnigan replacement, I hope it will work. Many good games
