Great point! That really pssed me off last season with Hall - Birmingham stopped us playing him when we most needed him! We weren’t going to play him before he was ready - he might have been the difference if we could have played him earlier in February/March.
If this is right, and it is only a fans opinion to be fair, seems like the kind of player that will fit right in. If he has a bit of quality as well, all the better. I doubt he will play attacking mid for us anyway, more central mid getting into advanced areas.

I agree with you he will fit right in , only in a back three with Flint and the Priest

Don’t particularly like signing players with a history of injuries, we haven’t got the physio team to support them since Whitney left. Bradford surely have a better setup than us and couldn’t keep him consistently fit.
Lets hope he’s more Liam Gordon than Rory Holden.

Remember we still need 4/5 more signings, we can’t take that gamble with those.
I was thinking about the minimum number of signings we need.
Hancock is back and Clarke can easily cover RWB. Richards and Hollman could replace Clarke’s position in midfield (I do find it interesting that Richards has not been recalled yet).
If Burke is back soon, then I don’t think we need another CB. If not, then we do need one.
Another forward is needed regardless.
So only a forward needed, possibly a CB too. This is just in terms of minimum squad depth, not about improving the squad.
I think he’s been out of favour with Alexander rather than unavailable.

Fair enough in terms of covering numbers.
We don’t know how soon Hancock and Burke will be back to full fitness. Especially Burke.
Using Clarke at RWB as cover, weakens our midfield. Nothing to suggest that Sadler trusts Hollman and when Richards has played in midfield he has been pretty awful.
You did specify that wasn’t to improve the squad but if we want to have a good second half of the season we need a few more players who are better than we have. (In my opinion)

I know you said full fitness, but Hancock will be back playing next Wednesday at Northampton all being well, probably be on the bench Sunday.
So full fitness wise probably a few weeks.
That’s quite a big assumption after such a long layoff. A lot of factors come into play.
I think we need cover for left centre back with Cox going, regardless of how soon Burke comes back.
That would leave us with Burke/Brown, Flint/Farq, Weir/New CB, plus Straw.
I also think we’re best leaving Clarke as a midfield option now. He’s looked good there, and other than Finnigan probably our best midfielder, certainly going forward. So would ideally like cover for RWB, I guess that can cover the left too until we know Hancock is fully fit.
Another striker too, hopefully similar ilk to Pattison, regardless of whether Kanu stays or goes.
He looked to me like our best signing before he got injured, hope he regains that level when he finally comes back in.

Absolutely, but he’s been in training for a while now and said himself that he’ll be featuring against Northampton.
Excited to see him back, Harper is decent defensively, but going forward not very good.
Hancock looked very exciting in pre season, at the moment everything seems goes down the right, with Hancock you’d think we will be able to be less one dimensional.

The FA - FA Cup Rule 95: A Player shall only play for one Club in the Competition during the same Season, save that a Player that has played for one Club in the Qualifying Competition and/or the Competition Proper may play for a maximum of one other Club in the Competition Proper (but may only play for a maximum of one Club in any given round of the Competition).
I’m not sure when Vicky Pollard got a job with the FA.
For the avoidance of doubt, he is not cup-tied, but he might be.
