If it’s true why haven’t the club announced it yet?

Announced now but only until the end of the season.

Welcome back Alfie, it’s a short term deal but all the best to you.

I actually think a permanent until the end of the season is actually a good bit of business.

Welcome Alfie

Shame we haven’t got an option.

I imagine it because we couldn’t afford his wages and still can’t. His contract with Blues has been cancelled, so he can now afford to play for us.

I didn’t notice the length of the deal at first that’s what you get for skim reading. Fair enough. He’s a better player than we have got in Comley and Lakin anyway.

Good luck Alfie.

Hope you don’t get the Sadler crick in your neck when all you see is Flint hitting diagonal balls over your head.

Good luck and many good games, but what about that unfinished business? Ah, I got it. Six month deal.

Welcome back Alfie. Hope you stay fit….

Welcome back Alfie, nice to see us building for the future with a 6 month deal.

It might be that was all Chang wanted to commit to.

Either way the point still stands.

Happy with getting him back. Not bothered about the six month deal. If we get promoted then he will probably want to sign a new deal. If we don’t, then it’ll be all change again any way..

I wish we’d only signed Warrington and Pressley on short-term deals!! I don’t think we should risk a longer term deal on a player with Chang’s injury record, and he probably wants to play at a higher level than League 2. If we do get promoted, and he has proved his fitness, then he might sign a longer deal. I think it’s a good piece of business for both parties.

Allowing for his injury record and the failed medical. Allowing for him being an outstanding prospect before he got injured, and would still harbour hopes of realising his original potential, six months then review could suit both parties.
