Hopefully if he kicks on and shows promise we can see that extension of contract come through around January… Future key player
Ive actually got a good feeling about this one , he certainly adds something different to the squad with being played out wide and adds pace.
If hes here to play in the middle im not sure where that leaves DJT as what, 5th choice?
Welcome Aramide.
I perhaps wasn’t so complimentary earlier in the dialog, but judging by what I’ve see since he was with us am hopeful he’ll be a v good acquisition up front
I think its a half decent squad now, the only thing it lacks is genuine wing-backs which would be a logical enough reason not to play them.
striker signed from a crap Crawley team who scored an amazing 7 in his best ever season and aged 24
Wow ….
We are really gonna rely on DJ aren’t we?
Are you for real or trolling
Welcome Aramide
Gensanx123 has eased off a bit but you have took over is mantle
Demote a hair
Recall that penalty that he won and scored against Southend in the relegation season. Took a 20-year-old lad in that team of shite-bags to step up, no-one else (including Cook) wanted to take it. Hope he does well.
In my opinion your expectations are unrealistic…
Id love to believe we can be the top pick for the top strikers and that we have the resources to back that up.
Average gate of 5k, season ticket holders less than 2.5k, big advertising board thats pretty much it. We are a club that developes Average players and brings them on… lately we have given up on the development part, fingers crossed thats changed.
Did you moan about Bradshaw?
Gotta be better than Timmy Abraham and Andy Williams not a bad signing for me and still young enough to improve
I can see oteh becoming first choice strike partner with DJ.
This may take time though as I don’t think he’s done any pre season at all. He was out of contract and not been seen at Crawley in their pre season videos.
Might spell the end for Matt?
Think we have some decent attacking options miles better than last season just need the creativity in the team to do them justice think hutch and tierney could be the the answer and they could chip in with a few goals as well welcome aramide
Overall pleased with this. He’s got a bit of pace, can beat his man (at least from what I saw on youtube) and can play out wide. Right age, and can certainly develop. I think he drops DJT down to 5th choice striker - but not sure if he’ll start.
And not one of them went over and celebrated with him, what a shamefully awful performance that was, right down there with Accrington the week before.
