Aston Villa (H) - Friendly - Wed 17th July, 7.30pm (L 3-0)

Why “wrongly”?
Surely he’s deserved a second season as head coach based on last season? I imagine that he will be set clear targets for the season, but I’m also realistic enough to think that they may not be the same as those of some of our supporters.
I can’t see him being sacked at all if we are top half tbh.

I think we would have to have a disaster of a first half of the season for him to get the boot.

To be honest I don’t even think in that way right now. I never made a secret I didn’t think he was the right choice, but at the same time, we shouldn’t be looking for reasons to get rid. Who knows he could turn out to be the one who cracks it.

My question marks are more about the tools he is being given to do his job. Still waiting for a couple of signings that say we are genuinely going to have a go at it.

There are more questions I think around Jordans and by default ROK performance this post season, under the group structure their meant to be responsible for the squad building based on Sadler and the coaching group needs.

I will wait to August 31 before passing final judgement, but as a believer and the glass is flowing with money ball logic I am waiting for the final pieces to be put into place.

A bit harsh calling them all tools. Some are ok i guess
