Just taken a view at the online ticketing portal and was quite taken aback by how many tickets still remain in the Saddlers sections of the arena. Villa are always a big draw and usually some good banter with Villa spectators in home areas. First opportunity for the vast majority of us to take a view on what looks so far to be some excellent close season transfer business.
ÂŁ35 for me and the kids to go and watch the Villa give us the run around. No thanks. Let the yampy Villa lot have their day out and pay us well for it.
On a serious note, I am surprised we are going into this game so light. I thought we’d have had a couple of midfielders through the door by now.

I refuse to go and watch that lot cream themselves when they score, grown men celebrating every goal like it’s a last minute World Cup final winner, no thank you.
I understand why the club play them for financial reasons but I’d sooner not see it.

I’ll decide if I’m going tomorrow. I want that football fix but I can’t be arsed to watch us get pumped - even if it is only a friendly.

I don’t go to friendly games but we are short of at least 2 quality players to help the team. Very disappointed that we haven’t signed a CB and 2 midfielders of experience. Depending on who they bring it could be a real pasting for us.
Usually, one game during preseason is for testing iFollow, or whatever it’s called. So it probably will be, but don’t lump on.

I might watch it if it is streamed somewhere for free, but I’m not paying to listen to a load of high pitched screaming of “Villa, Villa”.
We will likely lose, the game is purely about fitness and will probably see us have even less possession than we do in a league fixture.
Sell my seat to the highest bidding Villa fan
