Barrow (A) April 12th, 3pm kick-off

McEntee is a leader , he’s got heart . It was him and Taylor Allen carrying us second half v Vale whilst others shrunk.

Have got a lot of time for him

It’s all on the Crewe game.

Probably a few will pay on the day, relatively easy to get to on the train with only one straight forward change.

Don’t lump on :person_facepalming:t3:

Seriously??

The last away crew other than Carlisle, that took that many to Barrow, was the defeated remnants of the Spanish armada, and that was only because they got blown off course.
700ish Walsall at Barrow away is an outstanding following, and given recent form its ridiculously good.

Hopefully not a metaphor for us

4 years ago ish we won our first game in 15 games with a 2-1 win over forest green rovers. I hope for a similar result today. UTS.

Only 9 without a win at the moment :face_with_peeking_eye:, but yes a win would be great.
Edit: The 3 games so far this week have gone in our favour let’s hope that continues with the early games today and then see what we can do. :crossed_fingers:

Let’s hope we can continue to hope .

I am going for a shithouse win today. No other reason than we are due one.

Another lovely day up here. Already met a few fellow Saddlers stopping off at a convenient watering hole on their way to the ground. Will be on the way myself shortly.

My son is going with his father-in-law, a Carlisle supporter, and taking our 7-year-old grandson. It will be his second game. The first was the tonking at the end of last season at Wimbledon, so here’s hoping for a bit better result, but I’m not optimistic.

If you get the chance, I’d love to know what’s gone on at Carlisle to lead to their spectacular demise.

I believe they have one of the highest wage bills in league two.

From memory they have Charlie Wyke and Luke Armstrong in their ranks! I’d have loved Armstrong at Walsall and he was very close to a move to Wrexham a season or two ago.

What’s cracked off there?

Given Mat Sadler’s recent team selections and tactics, we are more akin to the charge of the Light Brigade!

Charlie Wyke is team captain at Carlisle, but Luke Armstrong has been loaned out to Motherwell.
