I hope so. No need to put out a regular 11

Not AT Salop, we’re at home for this one. Just hope it’s not against “Mat Sadler’s Shrewsbury”. :see_no_evil:

Worth going for the win against the Shrews as it’s a home tie next round if we win the group. Reckon the team Bags suggested above would get the job done.

Do you mean Cayden Bennett at LCB? Is he a registered player for first team fixtures?

Apart from him (who wouldn’t be in contention anyway if PF was fit), that is a pretty strong looking team that most of us wouldn’t be unhappy to see as our first team lineup, and shows our strength in depth. Unfortunately I don’t think the competition rules allow us to make 11 changes to the starting XI.

We must have at least four Qualifying Players among the ten outfield starters.

Qualifying Player must meet ONE of the following criteria

  1. Started the previous match
  2. Starts the next match
  3. One of the top ten appearances for the club so far this season
  4. Made more than 40 first team appearances
  5. Is on loan from a club with a Category One academy.

Johnson, Adomah, Daniels and McEntee have made more than 40 appearances

Well unless all our regular starting 11 come down with a mysterious bug and they spent the previous 68 hours on the loo

I’d imagine it would be difficult to put a team out that doesn’t match that criteria, unless we started a load of youth players. Earing must have gone past 40 appearances also and Comley.

Yes I should have included Earing and Comley as potential Qualifying Players Cleary and Hall are probably qualified also as loan players. That gives Sadler plenty of options to rest the usual starting 11 and put out a decent team, although we might be a bit makeshift in defence.

Winning would also give us a home tie in the next round wouldn’t it? Which would be beneficial for a number of reasons.

Should be, captain for the academy and been called up to St Kitts & Nevis for international football previously.

I don’t think you have to register players under 21.
