Looks good and I’m of an age to remember it and perhaps too old for replica kits but hay ho it doesn’t stop me and the kids want to know what to get me for Xmas lol
So I’m in

Will they be short sleeve Dave?

Short sleeve mate the one pictured is an original

Looks fantastic Dave. Right up my street. Old school hillary street top :ok_hand::heart::large_blue_circle::white_circle:

Don’t think I ever saw anyone wearing a football shirt in the Street End.

Think FP closed about 10 years before they started getting fashionable.

First time I ever saw people wearing Walsall shirts. was when Dave. McKay insisted on the green being added into the kit.

They used to be sold in the sport shop
At the back of boots. In the Quaser centre and in Lawrence and platers on bridge street

McKay. Also had his own merchandise. In the supporters club shop which i was located at the bottom of the Street end steps.

The white Highgate shirt and the blue away Highgate we’re also extremely popular

Tbf mate my first top was 1984/85 season …our blue away top…bloody beautiful it was. Got it from Jan Webster’s shop in station street in town. I was hooked on our tops

Fair enough.
I had a Walsall top (white shirt, red trim) in the early 70’s as a kid, but didn’t wear it for going to Fellows Park.
It was for playing football at school.

My memory must be fading then, I just can’t remember anyone wearing football shirts in the 70’s or 80’s for watching football.
