Booked my train nice and early when we secured our place in the 3rd round. Travelling to Horwich Parkway via Manchester. Looking at Northern rail website it says strike action on the 5th Jan with no trains to or from Horwich Parkway with no alternative transport provided. Anyone got any ideas how I now get to BWFC using the train ?

when I was looking at going by train just after the draw was made and ticket prices announced. It was clear that Northern Rail would not be operating on the Manchester to Bolton route. I decided on rail to Wigan and taking the bus to the ground. Someone else on here also mentioned it.
In the end I decided to drive to Bescot and get the coach
