Lots of posts referencing major overhaul needed which is probably right , but if you took your car to a mechanic for a major overhaul and he proceeded to use parts gathered from the local scrapyard , what do you think the outcome would be probably a " dodgy motor ".
Which is exactly what we have ended up with just replace motor with team .

Honestly cannot believe we had 19 shots. Unless they are counting every cross that went behind the goal as a shot, as there must have been about 8 or 9 of them.

Battered? By what measure? Possession doesnāt mean battered. They could have had three (the pen and the disallowed one) we were lucky for one nil!

100 % Gaffneys crosses as we didnāt have that many shots
First Walsall game Iāve made it down to this season and from what Iād heard from a mate and read on FB etc it seems to have been bang on.
Had some alright moments in the game but as soon as the ball went forward there was nothing upfront. Too many crosses going miles over and players trying to do to much.

Having had a chance to sleep on yesterdayās result, I thought we were desperately unlucky not to win the game. For the first time I actually felt sorry for the lads, we didnāt deserve to lose!
We attacked a lot more than any other game this season, Sinclair looked good going forward, Guthrie is the player we all thought he was and the two forwards worked their tails off. Hardy made a difference when he came on, but tried too hard to make things happen. CCM added something to our left flank.
The only thing our team needs is a break, right now weāre not getting breaks at all.
We have to stop making silly mistakes at the back late on in gamesā¦and we desperately need someone to put in a decent cross or two.
I thought we looked a lot more confident than previous games - we have to be patient with DC, slagging him off and booing does not help in the slightest. Walsall fans usually boo (rightly so) if thereās a lack of effort or at players not trying, that was not the case yesterday.

I donāt think it was too much to ask for maybe a little ambition this year following the takeover and possibly, god forbid a little bit of reinvestment of the transfer fees received. I think itās ridiculous to be ridiculed for having that view. Re the business model people keep telling me I donāt understand. ie every bit of cash goes into buying back the freehold. Might be ok in the longer term in the short term we will simply end up being relegated. How can u run the football club like that.

Nobodyās debating that weāre right in the mire at the moment. I just think itās ridiculous to blame a Chairman who has just taken over from a leech for a short-term run of bad results.
Clarkeās use of his budget, rather than budget itself, is the more pressing issue.

Last post from me on the issue but re the short term wasnāt the statement that āIāve been overseeing footballing decisions for some timeā. Or did u not hear that one. So weāve seen one relegation and are now in free fall towards the conference !

Pathetic. I have and I never will love Bonser to be clear with you. U can debate what is short term, long term all night but the āoverseeing of all football decisions for a considerable timeā by YOUR beloved Leigh Pomlett has been nothing short of a complete disaster.
