Cheers Welsh - as always
As soon as I think of Michael Cheek I just know he’s on the scoresheet - hope we can counter with some half decent performances…
I’ll optimistically go for 1-1

As I am constitutionally unable to forecast a Walsall defeat, I’ll go for a creditable 4 - 4 draw: 3 for DJ*, one for Simkins.
(* Whether he starts or comes on for the last 4 minutes ).
Great intro Welsh.
I’m going more in hope than expectation.
It was only 4 games ago when I did the same for the Cheltenham trip and we turned in a 99% complete performance.
I think Sadler should make some changes but the team he’ll put out will be similar to what Flynn and co faced. So there’s some hope there.
Got to say I’ve been impressed by Bromley this season.
Drinking never works mate
2-0
To Bromley? Or to us?
Matt for Adomah will be the only change i reckon
The only positive in can take is that it isnt a Tuesday night game. Let’s just hope that fate can work in our favour for a change.
Everything logically points to a loss but this is football and logic is something that rarely applies.you only have to listen to mangers to see that .
Can’t see anything other than a 2-0 defeat Matt to start instead of Adomah, with usual subs for usual players around 75 min and DJ to enter the fray on 89 min. Sadler blames the pitch , fans, lack of togetherness and playing Thursday evenings. Hope to be proven totally wrong.
You forgot we have to remember we’re a very good team .
Looking for positives?..we are unbeaten in our last 3 away winning 1 and 2 draws and
Should really have won all 3 as we were the better team in all of them.
Football lore demands that ex-players always score against you. 2-0 to the Saddlers, then, with Amantchi and Stirk on target.
Definitely controversial starting with DJ and Harrison in goal. Probably a better option than Simkin though
Have we even played on a Thursday night post the Bury away promotion game? Must be a positive
Sadler to start with the same team and then once behind and start panicking moving defenders in to midfield playing square pegs in round holes.
Stirk hopefully does not lose the ball in midfield leading to a Bromley goal, and Matt controls the ball without it bouncing off him
We will lose this 2-0 or 3-0.
No idea where the goals will come from, and we are now conceding soft goals.
Can’t believe I’m predicting that, but this is where some quality January signings were so desperately needed.
I’m not confident at all going into this one, hopefully we can squeeze a win for the fantastic travelling support yet again!
We played Stockport at Home in the 22-23 season on a Thursday evening. We lost 2-0.
Not sure what that does for your mood.
