what a night that was i was also at scarborough two days before with a handful of fans.
Scarborough was excellent too. I can’t remember that much about the Bury game other than we were quite well packed in behind the goal. I know my son was gutted as he was in sixth form and on a Geography field trip in Wales that week so unlike my daughter he missed both games.

My wife and daughter went to that match. I was unable to go because of work and they got lost driving back. It was an anxious wait for me at home waiting for their return and if I recall correctly they got back about 1,30 am. I was happy with the result but even happier when they got back safely!!!

Coming back from Scarborough, you can drive for hours and you still haven’t got out of Yorkshire. It’s a big old county.

I was there at Scarborough with my Dad - that final run in certainly felt like the Football League had gotten in for us - three crucial matches in 6 days.
