Bury at it again!

Do they ever learn just saw this on the BBC website .Fresh doubt has been cast over the future of Bury Football Club after they defaulted on a plan to help settle their outstanding debts.
I feel sorry for there fans at least this shouldnt happen to us !

Aren’t their outstanding debts the responsibility of that Dale bloke still?

Man City done for financial fair play didn’t know where else to post it so stuck it on this thread.

Dale adamant that he does not owe a penny to anyone, and can’t be held responsible for debts that accrued prior to his arrival.

The enquiry. Dale it claims only delayed the inevitable. The damage was done.

The system is almost designed to inflate wages beyond clubs’ means – Bury signed players from competitor clubs by offering fabulous pay packages they could not then afford – and it has a fundamental hole in it. Owners are required only to guarantee funding for a season but players’ contracts are for two, three, five years; in Day’s case, they outlasted his ability to pay.

There’s where I have a little bit of sympathy for Dale, it was Stewart Day who gave the ridiculous contracts to likes of Beckford and Chris Brown and then he sold up before the s*** hit the fan.

He was out of the spotlight when they ran out of time so got very little stick from wider football world.
