Cambridge United (A) - Sat 6th March, 3pm

I did think of that when I posted but I now have it on very good authority that he now has large fries as well… followed by jam roly poly ( not a fight with his adoring fans by the way).

I’m a little concerned this evening that Mavrak is either going to spontaneously combust or be a headline ( for all the wrong reasons) on central news tomorrow evening.

Just a massive bell end. Ignore him mate

Troll.

Hahahaha mate I ain’t seen his like on here for a while. They are usually, sados, school kids or ill - and are rarely even Walsall fans.

The couple of dissertations of insults he has written against me actually made me laugh out loud. The key is to not get ■■■■■■ off and take it light-hearted, he will go too far eventually.

Might be worth jumping to WFHYS in the meantime :joy: :joy: :joy:

Is argue its not bad luck, just bad game management. I know on here ive slagged him off a bit, but if Osadebe hoofs that ball down the line to white it rolls out or we time waste. Either way we’re 30secs from a point. Instead, he loses it and jogs next to their player and has a front row seat for the top bin.
Hes crap and hes let everyone down today.

I find that if you can avoid arguing and try to do a bit digging behind the reasons for his opinions - you do not get a response. He bids you a good evening, starts calling you a gentleman and asks a Moderator for help

Can only put this down to the fact he wants to look like the big man - won’t speculate as to why. We’ll stay on topic.

Didn’t realize Osadebe’s nickname was ‘lack of fitness’

I find it incredible that the mods haven’t had a word with him privately. Genuinely ruining the forum.

What a load of rubbish :rofl:

In fairness, I’m glad he isn’t singling players out unlike Clarke. I’d rather he blame anything but the players in public and instead prove it in the next team selection by dropping poor players.

Dean Smith, whilst however annoying blaming refs, pitches, anything else he could thing of, was the expert at it and it resulted in players giving their absolute all for him.

I did find his rant against the players after Bradford very worrying. It is more after the defeats you will see how much he will protect his players - it’s a transfer of pressure I guess.

Deano was a genius at man-management. The better you treat others, the better treatment you get back - in most cases lol.

Walker, Pointon, Wrack presumably. Brilliant team, and certainly the best I’ve seen. Although I suppose you could mean Mavrak for the winger.

I actually meant Walker, Aranalde, Matias but yes that one was bloody brilliant too!

You must have watched a different game to me. Mullin and Cambridge were poor throughout and created the same number of clear-cut chances as Walsall: zero. As I said at half time, xG data says Cambridge is the League Two team most flattered by its position in the table. Who thinks Cambridge looked like a promotion contender today? I would argue Cambridge’s points tally will regress to the mean before the season is over. It was doing exactly that before Mullin’s bolt from the blue. As limited as Walsall’s forwards are, its creative midfielders are no better.

As I said in my post, Cambridge were second best today (although they did play well at Bescot, last October). I never said that Cambridge looked like promotion contenders (they certainly didn’t!). However, they did have a proven match-winner who clinched all 3 points with a superbly-struck goal in an otherwise poor personal performance. With our strikers, we just get the poor personal performances without those vital match-winning goals!!!

Briab is utterly delusional.
If you score some goals in the early part of the game nobody cares what happens in the 95th minute, and being a bit tired doesn’t make you dribble the ball out of play for no reason whatsoever.
Please mister Pomlett, oh great one that doesn’t talk nonsense and ensures that sir Jeff’s pension cow remains in tact, and that Steph and Dan remain in post, please mister Pomlett can we have an actual manager please sir, if it isnt’ too much trouble (tugging forlock repeatedly).

To be honest, I thought today a player like Andy Cook, who could control all that long kicks from the defence, causing some problems for defenders and creating some danger he would score, would be nice. But that would be one game and nothing more. Squad for the next season? Mullin type player yes, not him personally, cuz he will probably have many offers from League One. But that would be end of season blues and many discussions, why player A and B instead player C and D. Interesting times ahead

Really am 50/50 in the way I feel about Dutton at the moment. On one hand we have not tasted victory yet albeit against some of the better teams in this poor league . It will only get tougher as it continues and confidence will only drain from this depleted squad.
On the other hand I can understand him trying to make us hard to beat and building from the back. I also understand there is a lack of quality in the team even more so with the sales of Adeybayo and Jules for him to work with.
However the next 5 games must bring a minimum of 7 points for me with a bit Progress and more focus on our forward play to give us a bit more hope and to give him the chance of landing the job permanently.

As frustrating as they can be at times, I wouldn’t want to criticise this group particularly. In the main they seem to be trying and genuinely care.

Another side that’s invested in a striker beats us shocker.

Same old story at this level and the above
