Dreadful error. For anyone questioning why Matt starts… this is why. Nothing is sticking up top and it’s clear that Matt and Lowe work perfectly together.

Did that all stem from a corner for us? If so, wow. Might aswell have chucked it into the mixer.
Their 8’s in their diamond are man marking our 8’s, so they have no time or space on the ball. Meaning we have no outlet except punting it in behind for Lowe and Adomah, which has been easy pickings for their centre halves.
Been done by Nathan Jones so far.

If Matt doesnt play and there is no natural replacement you may as well just play Lowe up front on his own

Not sure why we didn’t start Hornby. We’ve made six outfield changes, why not give Hornby a chance? I’m happy with Simkin but if we’re prepared to change half of the outfield squad then I don’t see why you wouldn’t give him a chance.

Bound to get fatigue. He plays almost every minute of every game. Should be playing Adomah in that position to give the lad a rest
