Cheltenham Town (A) Feb 25th, 7.45pm kick-off

If it is called off and it is postponed to an evening kick off, will that be at a cheaper rate?

Double edged sword

Chance to play with Lowe and Simpkin in the side and 3 points while we are flying

Or a welcome time to rest before we face our former gaffer and talisman who would be well up for it.

More importantly, would we lose the Sky money for it being televised?

Safety has to be of paramount importance, the weather conditions look horrendous and by all accounts the pitch and the surroundings to the arena could pose a threat to both player and spectator welfare. We’ve done exceptionally well ot make it into 2025 without any weather related postponements.

Best result would be a postponement, the lads need a rest.

We are currently at risk of players getting injured, 2 days rest is ridiculous!

Was really looking forward to this, but the rest will be good for the squad

Probably for the best but momentum is worth a lot in football.

Usually I’d be disappointed about a game being postponed, but we need the rest more than anything.

Results go in our favour tomorrow and be 12 points clear with 2 games in hand, that’ll do me.

I’d imagine there will be quite a few other games postponed.

A fair and sensible decision, and pleased they have been proactive in making a decision.

Might go out and give the mistress a good pounding tomorrow instead now as a new years treat.

Glad it’s done with notice.

Hope the lads are given a weekend off with families. Tired bodies and minds a chance to recharge before going again for the second half of the season.

6 degrees in Cheltenham at the moment and no minus temperatures forecast before the game. We have gone soft!! Anyway like others it will give us a bit of a rest although it means yet another Tuesday game to be arranged.

Be careful with your back on this surface #outsidepounding

MS was going to give them 2 days off anyway so they should be raring to go against Tranmere, on the other hand I have seen us cock things up before when a break occurs. We need to make sure that game is on because if people like CRODDY are running the show we could be in for a long break. Not good!!

Post of the year :rofl::rofl:

What! I’ve just been for a walk without a coat. It ay that cold.

Equally daft as the Alfreton decision to try and get that fa cup game on.

Bit naff if you had a ticket but from a footballing perspective maybe not a bad thing as some were running on empty.
