Cheltenham Town (A) Feb 25th, 7.45pm kick-off

Its warmer than forecast. The decision is premature in my view. 8am tomorrow would have sufficed.

It’s almost like different areas have different conditions.

If the pitch is already hard now it’s likely to be worse with freezing temperatures overnight.

I’m disappointed it’s off as I’d have liked to see us keep up the momentum but it’ll be a much needed rest for the squad. Let’s also remember playing on a hardened pitch would have had the chance of picking up injuries, something we could do without.

Thing is though, they’ve just played Notts County and Port Vale. I think the tiredness would have favoured us.

Tuesday night away games are a nuisance too.

It’s a fair point Steve but I thought it was even warmer down Cheltenham than here!

Looking at the forecast for next week our game will not be on judging by this decision. This is not a good thing in my view.

Forget the game we had a cracking full english and Guinness lined up in the King’s Head in Bishops Cleeve. Ay getting that on a Tuesday night are we !

Four L2 games on Sunday I see. So those players get an extra day to recover. Why?

Saddlers site still not showing postponement, even though shown on CTFC site, Beeb , plus E&S !!

It’s because the games involve the 4 teams that played yesterday

To be fair I’m shocked we’ve won the last 2, we certainly looked tired at points both of them games. I doubt theres a side who press and work as hard as us in the division. It may have caught up with us tomorrow after the efforts they’ve put in over Xmas period.

To give the teams that played yesterday the same number of days.

Based on the energy levels spent in the last few games, its a minor win for us. Get some rest into the lads.

I can also now put 100% of my effort into taking the decs down :disappointed_relieved: :gun:

Hope you are aware of the health and safety implications of a good pounding you haven’t got a good pound in ya btw :+1:

Yep, need to make sure the Tranmere game is on, but I reckon it’ll be off.

Rest is all well and good, but it moves the problem later into the season, don’t want a spell of Sat/Tues for 4 or 5 weeks in March!

We’ll be promoted by March…

Might not be a bad thing, there have been some tired bodies out there over the festive period. Opportunity to rest up now and go again!

Plus you might get a ticket to the rearranged game :+1:
