Cheltenham Town (H) 19th October, 3pm

I’d rephrase that it’s the result 17 million people wanted but let’s not go off topic

The whole rebuild excuse doesn’t wash with me, we literally have to rebuild every pre-season.

Not one of DC’s signings have impressed!

Remember when people called me a retard for saying this side isn’t good enough? :joy::joy::joy:

Every side we play knows how to counter. Therefore we are screwed. We can’t defend it, and we can’t stop giving the ball away with nonsense passing errors.

Hopefully that is as bad as it gets, because I’m not really sure how it can get any worse.

Whilst Clarke’s attempt to try and get back in the game was admirable, we looked so disorganised in that second half it was embarrassing.

I’ve tried to remain pretty lenient towards the management, but week after week we’re seeing teams that are streets ahead of us in every aspect of their play. Unfortunately, that has to lie at the door of the manager.

To sum it up, could you imagine one of our strikers scoring their second goal? Absolutely no chance.

It’s a shame because they seem like good lads and are clearly working hard, but the quality just simply isn’t there.

Tbf I’ve also said it’s not good enough all season, however I think we had to give the team and DC a chance.

They are now at the point where I’ll add judgment.

The pair of them would struggle to finish watching a blue movie.

Adding Mads Timm into this team would make him look a Balloon D’or contender - I am struggling to remember anything as bad as what we are subjected to week in, week out currently.

To be fair to EN, he has taken some ■■■■ on here. Can’t blame him for reminding folk

I dont know how much of the blame you can lay at the door of Clarke.

I look at our players today and in every single position we were 2nd best. 2nd to the ball, 2nd in challenges, too slow, too weak. Cheltenham were streets ahead of us and what’s worse is that we couldn’t cope at all.

As every week passes, what is worrying is that the Crawley performance looks more like the exception than the rule.

I think all we can do is stick with Clarke, get through to January, but then Pomlett really has to back him in the market to bring at least 2 or 3 players that walk straight in to the team, and dispose of a few that really aren’t up for the fight. Every single transfer window from now on we need to progress - no more of the windows like we’ve seen the past 3 years where we sign dross.

Time to “gel”?

Been today was comparing this to the hibbitt years but its worse so far something needs to change and fast its diabolical.

Yeah, I think it’s only fair that he gets at least two/three windows to sort this squad out.

I genuinely think we’ve got a good manager, it’s just incredibly frustrating especially given they’ve shown glimpses of being a half-decent side at this level.

Scrape to January and then reinforce to hopefully give us some momentum for next season.

I do EN and most were quoting this mysterious happening called “gel” or “gelling”
Well, the jelly has well and truly collapsed by the look of it.

Thing is we don’t use these Windows do we? I can guarantee no funds will be available in January.

So where in theory it’s a fair suggestion, we all know that we will do nothing.
