Chesterfield away

Tickets just gone on sale. 969 the full allocation which seems low. Disappointing as I think we’d have pushed 1500-2000 for this one if results continue.

We should shift them easily id have thought. Thought the allocation would be bigger but they’re getting decent crowds these days I think so probably taken by home supporters

Away fans get put in the side stand instead of behind the goal like we have been before

Got four this morning and really looking forward to it.
It’s been a while since we’ve been there.

These will sell like hot cakes, and are. I think we could be taking nearly double our allocation, a few Saddlers in their end no doubt.

Got my ticket!

Looks like these are selling well… got mine… hopefully we sell out and get extra allocation

No extra allocation available

969 is the full allocation unfortunately. Could see us taking double that otherwise.

Thats ridiculous… there stadium capacity is the same as ours isnt it

Yeah, roughly. Someone mentioned that since they’ve been getting better attendances, away fans no longer get the 2k capacity stand behind the goal and are now given a section of one of the side stands instead.

If they are selling all their tickets we can’t have too many complaints Jamie, they will always prioritise home fans as is their prerogative and the majority of our fans who miss out are unlikely to be regulars away from home, the 969 will be adequate for all supporters who travel away regularly.

Should be an absolutely crackling atmosphere and expect there will be quite a few Saddlers in the home audience.

Was looking to go to this…but not even 1k allocation and nothing on the day (guess there’s a feeling it will all kick off) means chances are pretty remote.

Was the last meeting in 2016? 4-1 win and pretty sure had behind the goal in half empty ground so guess the feeling is completely different now and they’re packing out their home ends hence the small allocation.

Even then getting barely a third of a touchline stand isn’t great compared to say Crewe or even Bradford.

Still they’ll probably be the Stockport of the division this year, side that was stuck in non league for years but now have serious momentum and could be pushing for even a championship place in 2-3 years so demand is there.

That was in the March, but we went back there just a few months later at the start of the following season. Lost 2-0 - think Makris played and missed a couple of sitters.
