This season ffs

I got like a bottle of fizzy pop when we went 12 points clear

Then I got Prozac when it looked like we had botched it

Now I don’t know what to feel

We are all emotional wrecks the one incident that got most posts was time added on

What’s happening to us?

Lager and curry night

Great second half comeback. Whatever anyone says about Sadler he clearly does influencial half time team talks. We looked nervy between 80-90 but dealt with the 10 minutes injury time fantastically. Cheers for the ref for adding on 10, nice of him to let Levi open his account.

Could be a season defining win that
It’s easier said than done to end a losing run. I hope the players get some of their missing confidence back and push on

What a bloody win that is!!

Absolutely buzzing for Levi and Ellis today. Ellis was MOTM IMO.

Lets hope we have turned a corner now.

Never in doubt, right? It was almost 2-0, as I predicted earlier. It should put some doubts to rest, because now it looks like the post-January slump is over. Other teams have to worry.

ah football I love you. unreal at the end

I’m so relieved!

Just the amount of pressure that’s been lifted with that win. The lift for the fans, what the players must feel.

I actually feel emotional - that was so so important

Absolutely! Some beer will be drunk tonight!
Was feeling a bit crappy earlier today but that second half come back has given my spirits a lift!

Bradford drop points, Donny lost, crewe drop more points, so some good results for us too.
Just got to make sure we dont waste this result and keep a decent run going and consistency again to heap pressure on the chasing pack.

I bet the atmosphere in the second half and after the final whistle was brilliant! I hope it really gives everyone a lift and brings the players and fans more together again after a difficult spell when there some rumblings. Let’s kick on now!

That third goal was the most Walsall-like goal of all - forced the opposition to make a mistake, quick pacy counter-attack and a great finish. Amazing energy considering we were 100 minutes in at that point!

Great finish by Levi - so playing devils advocate, would Josh have finished that?

I said Okagbue was at fault for their goal but fair play to him after that.

He got a very good headed assist for Jamma’s goal (what a good finish that was), and I thought he was very good second half after moving to the centre of defence.

Ditto - so relieved! Let’s hope the bad patch is over and we can start picking up points again from here.

Me too, however there are 200 people in front of me at the bar in The Locker :joy:

Nobody ultimately - but if we had to worry about our questions being relevant there’d be a lot less content on the forum!

Fantastic 3 points against decent opposition.

We always knew there would be a bad patch at some point this season, let’s hope that’s the end of the worse one.

Second half was us from a few weeks ago. The press was back to being immense.

Sheer grit and determination. A real performance to be proud of.

All subs spot on. Well done Sadler.
