What must the incoming centre forwards think
Wheels are off and we allowed this to happen, we went weeks without strengthening!
And we’ve not exactly gone hard with our recent transfers.
Disappointing
He’s not been great but please do piss off, I’m really not in the mood for your nonsense.
Allen will get the rest he badly needed now!
We all hoped losing Lowe would only affect the goalscoring side of the game, but we look noticeably weaker in midfield and defence. Team looks completely out of confidence - self doubt has crept in and we clearly seem unable of handling the pressure of being the team to chase down.
Still time to put this right - but having Adomah as a striker doesn’t seem to be the way. I don’t think we’ve had much luck - and we had plenty of that in the 9-win run - lucky deflection for their equaliser and a worldy of a goal for the winner.
They need a win - any win, to steady the ship.
I love how some claimed we have strengthened the midfield… and none of those midfield ‘strengtheners’ even made the bench
Big mistake for me. We needed some proper quality to come on in there and push for a starting place.
Dont worry. Apparently we have come out of the transfer window stronger .
The Board should have put their nuts where their mouths are and gone and made a couple of early quality signings. Forget buying a Danish club. Trivela gave taken their eye of the ball here and taken it for granted that everything will go without a hitch. Football isnt like that. We needed strengthening and they have fukced it up. Forget trying to help Blues by getting one of their youngsters fit, concentrate on our side and club and nothing else.
Adomah is naturally at home on the wing … either wing … it’s patently obvious . He looks totally ineffective up front . Bizarre
Correct, the defence have completely lost it, we should have had the ball cleared well before they scored the first one. No arguments with the second, it is beginning to look like the off switch has been hit on the whole team.
At this rate all we have to look forward to is being a laughing stock of a team well clear who blew it.
At a point where I don’t know where the next win is coming from.
I agree but I guess there was a positive spin on each signing.
Truth is 2 offered us nothing today.
Im not confident that’ll even happen. I genuinely dont see that as a particular trait that MS has.
It’ll be something along the lines of:
“We know we wont win them all”
Or
“Not to get too high when we win and not to get too low when we lose”.
Any manager with a spine or something about them would be unleashing hell, particularly on TA after that. Unforgiveable what he did today. I’d be giving Weir his chance and making TA work for his place back.
Either way, thats on MS and the coaching staff today - got it horrendously wrong from the moment Lakin scored.
Oh and the two Midfielders we bought in to bolster our options? Couldnt even make the squad.
Without wanting to make excuses, if I were Sadler I would be calling them out for that pitch. It was a disgrace.
Even Kier Starmer would struggle to put a positive spin on that result today
It was and usually is. They are forever having games called off because of it, however…
They played on it aswell.
The game was won and lost in midfield today.
McConnell, Payne and Bishop in the middle, Anderson and Edwards in the wide areas - all excellent and very effective. Great balance.
It is a concern how we seem to have completely lost our physical power though.
Is this a serious post or a wind up? If its serious then that’s the most ridiculous post I’ve read on here. We’ve been finishing around 16th under other managers and you want Sadler sacked when we are top of the league but on a bad run?
Hopefully from the owners to Sadler
Not to have one of the new replacement 8’s on the bench also very odd ?? Jellis needing hooking in the last 20
That defeat is on Sadler. What on earth did he think he was doing replacing Matt with Adomah? He is not a striker.
We signed Amantchi for just such an eventuality - so why not replace Matt with Levi? Talk about self inflicted damage, It turned a potential victory into defeat.
Just terrible.
Sure, they will be well used to playing on it then.
