A win would be great but these have picked up a little of late so a draw would be decent

Looking at our remaining fixtures in February

A. Colchester
H. Gillingham
H. Chesterfield
A. Morecambe
A. Cheltenham

If we could pick up 8 or 9 points from those games we would still be top and have a very healthy lead over 4th place going into March.

Thanks for that. Very interesting .I liked his concluding remarks which could equally apply to a lot of us.

I would drop Stirk for McEntee.
He lost the ball again last week too often

That will upset him. He’ll be holding back the tears

No. He had a really good game. First on the team sheet for me

I bet he didn’t buy anything from the concession kiosks at those prices either, not when money’s too tight to mention.

Whilst the location isn’t great, I always thought is was a fair ground.

I think you’ll find that is in Clacton on Sea

Bescot is alright mate, it is an underrated gem of a lower league ground if you ask me. It’s got everything we need, and it would be a great away day I’d imagine. Booze around Brum, then a quick train straight to the ground.

I vaguely remember that. Didn’t his form then take a massive dip? Can’t remember the reason.

He’ll be seeing Stars if he’s not careful :grinning:

i would go with the following, but i doubt Sadler would leave flash out:

Simkin

Dave Williams Allen

Barrett Jellis Stirk Lakin L Gordon

Jamma (Wheatley if jamma is not available) Harrison

subs

Hornby, Weir, Mcentee, Chang, Albert, DJ and Levi.

We’ve conceded 9 goals in the 4 games since Lowe left, so something isn’t working.
Not sure the back 3 is the issue.

Don’t think we are protecting the ball well enough.
Without Matt the front 2 haven’t held up the ball well enough.
Plus lots of misplaced passes.

What are we going to change?
If we concede 2 goals we ain’t going to win.

Think the plot line was that it paralleled his music career: showing great early talent/promise and then fell away rapidly. Possibly by the 2nd half of that game?
I’m going to have to try and check that now, to see if my memory is still working.

I’m going to have to miss this one as money’s too tight…
