I still hope the situation with DJ rights itself and we get to see him next season, a natural goal scorer for us which we’ve lacked for a good many years now.

Everybody seems to be assuming that DJ and Saddler have fallen out. That may be true but there is another possibility, which is that Johnson has had personal issues and has struggled to keep fit, physically and mentally. He was in the team for first few matches, then missed some following the birth of his child and there were noises from Sadler offering full support and so on.
Of course, Johnson might leave but it is also possible he could stay and start as first choice. again.

Does anyone know what the final transfer fee was, in terms of an FA Tribunal? Surely, this will be in the public domain at some point.
they are normally on the FA website so I suspect it hasn’t gone to the tribunal yet.

I expect 1 of 2 things in January
1, the club fend off other clubs and (try) and extend his contract or
2, an offer of £500,000 + comes in for him.
Just remember after 1 friendly some had already wrote him off.

I don’t think they will, he’s got 3 years already.
He’s hit the ground running and as far as I’m concerned we’ve found an absolute gem.
Every time he plays it’s an improvement on the last performance, incredible at this level.
I hope we can keep hold of him.

Give him a Pardew Contract.
Not sure what all the fuss has been about. He’s been our weak link every game and teams are targeting that area of the pitch.
Whoever gave him a 3 year contract wants shooting. Questions need to be asked of Trivella. Compensation… they should be paying us to take him off their hands. Even Hednesford wouldn’t have paid money for him!

You can see why they gave him a 3 year deal. I hope that the Club are already thinking of extensions for Williams, Gordon ,Stirk and McEntee .Whether they will sign is another matter but this squad is beginning to look really strong.

I would agree with Williams and Stirk. Can Gordon significantly improve his crossing and final ball would be a consideration for me and McEntee, as good as he is, would be a risk given his troubling times with injuries.
McEntee is very injury prone . Not sure on a new contact but I presume we will release the priest end of year and get a new cb in anyway
