Crewe Alexandra (A) May 3rd, 3pm

Game, set and match :100:

Give us the rest, like it

My contribution to today is that I won’t be wearing this seasons lucky red socks that did so well for us up until February.

Good luck to all who are going today.

Kept playing Jamma in attack, running like he’s had a cack.

And DJ’s giving animals some feed.

Love it

If only us thick supporters understood the long term plan

We’ll see from Sadler’s team selection what chance we have today and in the playoffs. If he picks McEntee in midfield and either Adomah or Harrison upfront with Matt, then we might as well pack it in. He needs to mix things up a bit and have Wheatley and DJ in the matchday squad. More of the same ain’t going to cut it!

That last line :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

My lucky socks disintegrated some time ago, I do wonder if this is partly my fault.

Maybe Andy_Petterson should add a few percent to the list for me and my socks.

Well his prize for his cameo at Newport which included highlights such as throwing a man to the floor when we had a corner to give away a foul and instead of using any legal part of the body to put the ball away from a terrific cross he used his hand was to get a start against Accrington. He was worse than useless against Accrington so I imagine he’ll be given the captain’s armband today.

I somewhat agree.

I think it turns negative very quickly. More the lower than the mid, upper or old man seats.

But then again, they generate the momentum. Those 2 goals against huddersfield where basically pulled in by the lower.

Its been 18 years since we had any success so negativity is understandable.

Yes if there was one club in the country that didn’t need an implosion like this season it was Walsall. It’s unbelievable.

Perhaps you are right - it is just that at the moment I feel like I have had the s**t kicked out of me.
UP THE SADDLERS
PS: 44 years ago yesterday we sent the Blades down.

Same here. After the Cheltenham game i cuda puked.

I agree with that. I don’t really believe in fate and all that. You could be forgiven for feeling that the universe just wants us to suffer for eternity though.

ā€œThey are getting a bit comfortable with being rubbish now it doesn’t hurt them any more, let’s dangle almost certain promotion in their face then take it awayā€

It is just unbelievable.

I’m only messing mate , but you’re bang on. If ever there was a club which didn’t need this it’s Walsall.

Sun has just started to come out here in Crewe.

Here in hope rather than expectation. Hoping for a good atmosphere today though I’m not going to critisise fans if things get ugly as I’ve felt pretty sick about our horrible form myself.

I think we will all be behind the team from what he start though. Reckon we’ll see an early Bradford couple of goals which will take any hope away. Could be a good thing as I can’t imagine how frustrated we’ll all be if Bradford fail to win and we bottle it too.

Ah well, I think we’ve fouled it up good and proper. Might as well own it; we support the lads despite the disappointments. More loyal than 99% of majority of the football fan population.

We are still Walsall FC, I wouldn’t want to be anyone else.

I want to say this to you. Over the past few months, you and a few others have remained really positive, where as I was a bit doom and gloom

Even though I was being genuine in what I was saying at the time, I want you to know this. Some of the positive posts kept me going and believing. I wanted you to be right so much.

I doubt I am going to enjoy today but the same as you Walsall FC, no other option or choice could come close.
