I watched about 10 minutes of the Bradford game, a few first half then the end.
In that time they missed 3 gilt edged sitters and hit the post. It looked for all the world like it just wasn’t their day and they could play all night and not score. 
I turned off when they scored but there was always going to be more than 6 minutes, the first minute of added time was entirely taken up with Fleetwood fannying about making subs.
Exactly - didn’t really have much hope before the match so I was resigned to our fate. However, 6 minutes into injury time and with us in third, I made the mistake of thinking we had a chance - how wrong i was! Typical of football to build our hopes up (even against our wishes) and then do that to us!

Gutted i am but especially for the young saddlers fans that haven’t seen us win anything. It’d be lovely just for them to see us achieve something.

An absolute shambles.
We didn’t deserve to go up. We’re a mess. Even today against the most limited of opposition we tried to sit on a 1-0 lead and it nearly caught us out.
Biggest bottlers is Walsall’s history.
So many good people let down by sheer incompetence. Heads should have rolled weeks ago.
Nobody call this “unlucky”. It was the tale of the chokers today and at the end of the season Bradford didn’t quite choke as much as we did.
Gutted.

Regardless of what happens now, the others had weeks to catch up and kept messing up. We should have been with Crewe outside of the playoffs.
It was out of our hands today so I wasn’t expecting anything, like I’m not expecting anything in the playoffs.
But you never know.

@zaddler Yep. Dunno who it was who interviewed him. None of our lot. Id left the TV on whilst in the kitchen and he popped up for all of 30 seconds.
The usual “we’ll go out and give it what we’ve got” and take the win today “into the next games”.
Unbelievable…….. after he has overseen the biggest capitulation in league football, he has the gall to state ‘hey ho that’s the way it goes ‘
