Crewe Alexandra (A) May 3rd, 3pm

Not sure if they are classed the same as league or cup games. They can sell out the home seats so the league allocation was under 1K.

EFL rules still, I’d imagine.

Was ā€˜The Banner’ seen at the game today?

Makes Timmy Abraham look decent.

I wouldn’t go that far :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Quite right. Quite right. Johnson. That’s the biggest scandal of the season. A couple of starts for DJ and the odd extended sub opportunity since January would have given us the extra points we needed. I don’t know what the animosity was between MS and DJ but it should never, never have influenced team selection. Whatever the gripes, the team and the club should - must - come first. DJ would have seen us promoted, probably days ago. Sadler, you, YOU bottled it for us.

WHY?

I’ll always support the players that pull on the shirt but if Amantchi is the answer f*ck knows what the question is bloke was dreadful

One for the future?
:joy:

The cruelest ending to a really cruel season. I just can’t think of what else to say at this point

Amantchi’s best games for us have been when he’s played with Matt.

Yet since Vale at home, they’ve barely played together.

But i do like George Hall, such a shame we havent seen more of him.

Theres also a huge difference between him starting and him coming off the bench.

If he starts hes absolute tat usually, sometimes useful off the bench.

Heartbreaking, absolutely heartbreaking to get so close and see it taken away so late in the game.
The Walsall fans were beyond brilliant today despite going into the game fearing the worst and in dreadful form all you could hear was total support and Trivela need to appreciate what they have because it’s very special.
The atmosphere surprised me as I thought it might have been quite vocal at MS.
It wasn’t our finest performance but we got a win and that could prove valuable.
As to the inquest, it will have to wait.

We need to get the Bescot absolutely rocking for that 2nd leg, let’s hope we can fill the place. If I were Sadler I would very much be taking a belt and braces approach to the first leg to ensure we’re still in the game when we get the advantage of the 2nd leg at our home.

that will all depend on the first leg. If we have a positive result it will be a big crowd.

Agree defender wins the ball almost everytime and we lose possession .at least with a Jamma ball hits him no control at all but we sometimes have 50/50 chance it will bounce our way ..best chance for us is scrum in there penalty box .big Dave Jamma and McEntee and go for a maul .Sadler is light years ahead in coaching Top Top

I try hard not to disrespect players that try their best, which the vast majority do, including Levi.
He’s not good enough for a place in a team going for promotion in Div 4. Not his fault. The fault lies with those that brought him here.

Nothing came up on Sky until about the 93rd minute, when 4 minutes was indicated. I was keeping an eye on Bradford on my iPad, and their added time (6 minutes) came up at 90 minutes. Just another turn of the screw to increase the agony.

We paid money for him, and Sadler needs sacking for that alone.

yeah i agree i have criticised the players but never thought the work ethic wasn’t there. Having watched Walsall for a couple of decades now its easy to spot a player who has thrown the towel in.

I can only think of maybe one or two in our squad i would throw that at not the rest.
