Agreed, the strength in depth we now possess is frightening.

Harry ‘Like You Say’ Williams will be a huge loss, he has been outstanding this season but then you’'ve got Captain Fantastic to come back in.

Should be a white hot atmosphere come Saturday afternoon, no love lost between the two sides and a noisy and boisterous following from Cheshire.

Stirk was ill not injured so he will be back presumably.
I like the idea of McEntee right and Dave middle but that would be 2 changes in the back 3 which I don’t think Sadler will do.
Also Daniels was very good up until the New Year last season. His form dropped but he was playing through injury.
He has had minutes for Monserrat and now us whereas McCentee hasn’t played for a while now.

Id be surprised if he chucked McEntee straight back in, expect Daniels to start to be honest.

Agreed but expect Osin to get minutes against Shrewsbury and be on the bench Saturday

I’d prefer this but I don’t know if it’ll be a huge drop off with DD straight in.

I still think McEntee is our best defender despite how good the others have been so far this year.

There’s a first time for everything I suppose.

From Crewe’s perspective though Walsall is never an easy place to go to, with it’s white cauldron atmosphere from the raucous home fans, the OAP stand in particular is infamous for it’s intimidating aura . The away fans would be advised to keep club colours covered to avoid confrontation.

It’s the home fans that the OAP stand intimidates.

And you will be doing your bit on Saturday I’m sure.

This is one of those banana skin matches, the ones that i usually stick a bundle on an unfancied team, not doing too well, and Whoooooops!!! :man_facepalming: :grimacing:
On paper we should be beating them easily, but we came unstuck against a few of these last season

Not 100% I’m allowed out yet.

If you are a Walsall fan who dares to go for a piss mid-game or doesn’t share his/ her buttermint sweets, you ain’t getting out alive!!

This could be another game where the opposition ’ parks the bus’.
We much prefer to soak up pressure and strike on the break.
Sadler might need a Plan B!

In addition to it being Minidude’s 1st game, it’s also a Foundation’s School Partners Game. Stands full of potential future Saddlers…so nailed on defeat!

Another tough game on Saturday, but not enough to worry about.
The way we’re playing we could easily flourish in L1. I know, I know, we have to get out of the division we’re in first!
The bigger the challenge the better we play. MS has instilled a never say die attitude into this squad, something we haven’t seen for years. Long may it continue.

We need to be careful here, crewe are 5th in the league so wont be a push over
