First fixture i looked out for when the fixtures come out, probably my favourite away day and even better this year as it’s on my birthday.

So three points would be more than welcome

Is it old fashioned paper tickets for this? Ordered online last night and assumed they would be digital, but seems not. Hope they arrive in time :grimacing:

Yes, mine is a physical ticket.

I loved going to Notts last year - nice city. There’s a local brewery (Magpies?) just round the corner from the ground.

I remember thinking we’d be lucky with draw and it all looked pretty gloomy at half time - second half Saddlers turned it around though - One of Lowe’s last goals and that fabulous goal line clearance by Evo. Think we’ll be going for a hat trick of away wins at the county ground under Matt Sadler. Looking forward to the game immensely but Notts are due a win against us for sure. We can’t win there again - surely….?

wont be at this one. I can’t see anything other than a good old spanking with us leaving with a sore backsides and tears in our eyes.

Know we have been in different divisions but can’t remember an away loss to them since about 2012? Pretty sure Butler scored and they scored a few minutes later.

Always associate Notts away with a Febian Brandy hattrick

For me it was the win in the play-off semi-final and Kelly’s “did he mean it” goal.

Tough, tough game this. Jatta vs Flint.

Yeah, he meant it. Looks straight at the goal after doing it.

Promotion in 2007 there pips that one for me.

It’s going to be a tough one this. Had a look at their last few games on highlights and if they play Jatta and Dennis up front together, our defence will have their hands full.

That said, our trips to Nottingham (both sides of the Trent) have often been fruitful in recent years. In fact, I just checked - we have won our last 5 league matches at Meadow Lane. :+1:

Not sure how much of a tippy-tappy farting around at the back kind of team they are this season, but I am going for a draw. The Pies 2 - Saddlers 2.

Jodi Jones to make a guest appearance in the 68th minute.

Home win on my acca Saturday morning at the bookies.

They have dialed down their possession approach which previously played into our hands and Think they are due a win over us so am predicting a loss unfortunately :frowning:

Hope I’m wrong.

2-0 loss for me their forward line will be too strong for our back line I fear , we could be 4th Saturday night :grimacing:

The referee for this one is Steven Copeland from Merseyside. He has not officiated a Walsall game before only being promoted to EFL level in November 2024 and it will be only his seventh game since then at this level.
His first EFL game back in November 2024 was Crewe v Notts County, which Crewe ran out 2-0 winners even though he issued 6 yellow cards and sent off one of their players, Notts County managed one yellow card. The game also had a penalty, quite setting the scene for his future performances.
I hope he dosen`t spoil the game but his cards and penalty record seems to point towards that being the case.
Lets see how this one goes.

My first ever away game :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I think if they aren’t going to come in time they can send them to collect on the day. Based on past experiences, it will be cutting it fine to get it delivered on time, especially with the post this time of year. Might be worth giving the ticket office a call if you can.

I hope I’m walking away from Meadow Lane in the same mood as last season on Saturday
