D 0-0 vs Alfreton Town (A) - FA Cup Second Round - Tue 5th Dec, 7:45pm

I’m beginning to think he’s actually in denial and that is a very, very dangerous thing for your manager as nothing will improve as he fails to tackle the problems and tinkers with other things as he falls deeper and deeper into his own delousions.

That’s why as some others have said from the outside it just looks like he’s throwing s#!¥ up the wall hoping something will stick.

That’s an awful interview.
Why not just say that you understand the fans frustrations? He’s turning into an us vs them situation and it never ends well.

He wouldn’t accept that he understands the fans. We’re all basically thick as shit and don’t know what goes on internally so wouldn’t have a clue. “But maybe that’s me” just tops it off. Arsehole.

Yeh I said Saturday he’s very smug.

I understand positivity. I understand not digging out your players but to not be disappointed after tonight, what planet is he on?

It’s the same with talk of the Christmas party on Saturday - we are 19th in the league, or whatever, I’d be keeping any organised party pretty low key, not talking about it on tv.

Still not sure Trivela get the peril we are in this season - worryingly Sadler talks a lot like Boycott does if you notice, it’s all progress this, journey that, “we’ll get there” - all intangibles neatly out of reach, but cited as if they were fact. Because of that, I do fear Sadler has either a) got their ear (and they have no one else to say “this guy is talking bollocks” or b) he speaks their language so he’s getting a lot of slack.

Either way tonight has bought him some time but ultimately he needs results or it’ll get too ugly and force the club to act.

I actually think he’s full blown deluded.

Just got back from Alfreton for the second time in a few days. Absolutely love watching us just about compete with a semi-professional side for 90 minutes to then see our ‘Captain’ and senior players make sure that none of them come over to acknowledge the fans.

This isn’t some pearl clutching rant, it’s just complete and utter arrogance from a Management and Playing Staff who think this is acceptable.

Stayed pretty quiet tonight as I just couldnt be arsed with anything to do with Walsall FC tonight. Had the game on, wasnt really interested but i saw enough to know that was the worst shite ive ever seen served up in my lifetime. That tops Barrow and Scunthorpe for me.

What an absolute condescending and patronising shite stain he really is. Utter, utter waffle. The bloke is absolutely deluded.

In reference to his “many years” at the club:

“I’ve seen some not so good times… and more not so good times”

Says it fookin all.

Mat, the term to describe you was mentione ld a few times in that interview - “a weapon”.

Get out, and get out now.

He’s surely cooked himself with that.

Group of fans who have travelled in the cold to the same place in five days and he’s been utterly graceless there. Flynn lost the dressing room but kept a lot of fans, Sadler has kept the dressing room but lost the fans.

Mate ive said time and time again and i still say it to this day i dont think it matters what happens this seaspn MS will still be in a job because he is there golden boy there pet project and were all missing the bigger picture , he does not speak like a man under pressure.

Well Trivela you clearly dont understand the power of football fans

Deluded and very arrogant to go with it.

Just got home from watching that utter shambles , It’s. Now become. Undefendable as to how low we are sinking

Owners who are now showing there true colours Whose continued silence is becoming. Louder by the day

A manager who lets face it. Through no fault of his own. Is just yet another victim of the clubs. Incompetence ,

A playing squad who quite frankly are a disgrace to the shirt Never has the chant that echoed round the away end. At the end of tonight’s game of your not fit to wear the shirt be so apt for a bunch. Who appear not to give a toss

A captain who instructed. The players not to come over to the fans. Is a disgrace and should never play for the club again Those same fans. Pay his wages ( fair play to the few who did ignore his advice and had the. Guts to come and applaud the travelling. Faithful

An slo who will not meet with fans. To discuss i questions. That are. Desperately in need of being answered And hides. Behind the. Line. That the club won’t let him
What nonsense if he was the fan he claims to be. He himself would be demanding answers

The only good thing about Walsall, football club is it’s die hard supporters And it’s a crying shame. What they are constantly being. Subjected to

And one thing for certain is. We will again be there in numbers at meadow lane on Saturday. To witness. Further sleepwalk. To the unthinkable

Forget slow incremental progress it just ain’t happening. It’s more like. Rapid decline And it’s about time. These owners. Told us. How they are going to stop the unthinkable. Happening, Because god forbid if they let this shambles. Continue for much longer. They are. Gambling with the clubs very future

Why is Matt happy we just about matched a non- league north part time team ( same level as rushall ffs )
He even got a dig at the pitch in there
Long throws should be an issue if you’d keeping posession , put them under constant pressure And score a dam goal past them!!

This blokes delusional where the hell were the good bits of play from us? I’m getting very frustrated with Sadler now and he has a long road back to win many if not almost all of the fans over now.

I disliked Chris Hutchings with a passion. His football was dog awful.

I thought the personality of DC made him the most unrelatable manager we have had.

The demenour and interviews of Brian Dutton were a difficult watch.

This guy is wrapping up the worst traits and giving it a real good go at being one of the worst managers going.

Personally on this point I think they are being savvy.

They will stay silent, they won’t come out now and nail their support for him to the mast, days / weeks before they might be forced to act. They already look pretty daft having said what they said in the summer, I doubt they’ll make the same mistake again

He’d even arguing with Heslop there, insiting there were plenty of positives.:rofl::rofl:

Head loss.

Feck off Sadler you sound pathetic we are 19th in league 2 and going on our way to non league unless you are replaced.

My worry is that Boycott is so clueless that this bullshit is the kind of thing Sadler spouts to them and he believes it.

Even heslop has had enough with this team and is trying his best not to tell sadler we suck

I think Clarke really felt the pressure at times and probably said things he regretted in the heat of the moment.

We went to pick up some tickets one Saturday quite early, and he walked from over by the main entrance to the middle of the car park to come and say hello to my boys, had a photo taken with them and thanked us for our support. I know that doesn’t tell the whole story but it really felt like he appreciated the support.

Sadler feels like he has some narcissism about him, all very cool and calculated, the “we will” comments in that interview stood out to me. Doesn’t feel like he feels under pressure or is losing his shit like Clarke used to. That said I don’t care much about his personality if he could get the team performing, that seems a long way off and it feels like he is seeing something we aren’t. I’d like to know the good times he talked about when he has been at Walsall, I can’t think of them.

It doesn’t feel like he is worried for his job to me.
